WWE is yet to have WrestleMania 39 to get out of the way, but they can’t wait to hype up the fans about Wrestlemania 40. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania hosted Extreme Rules 2022, last night and the city will also play the host to the 40th edition of the Biggest Event of the Year in 2023.

Hence, WWE felt last night’s PLE to be the proper occasion to reveal the official logo for Wrestlemania 40. Fans at the Wells Fargo Center got their first sight of the dope logo that includes the Philadelphia Eagles colors. It could also be noticed that the roman numerals are back for the first time in 12 years.

Vince McMahon removed the roman numerals after Wrestlemania 28 as he felt that the roman numerals made the WrestleMania event sound old time. But as Triple H took over the charge of the creative team in July, changes to the old traditions were expected.

For those who don’t know, WrestleMania 40 has officially been announced to be held at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 6 and 7, 2024.

In an official press release made by the WWE, earlier this year more announcements regarding Wrestlemania 40 were made as given below,

“In addition to WrestleMania, other events will include ‘Friday Night SmackDown’, the 2024 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony, and ‘Monday Night Raw’ at Wells Fargo Center as well as other fan events at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. In addition, WWE will also host multiple community outreach events, including hospital visits and Be a STAR bullying prevention rallies, designed to give back to the local region.”

Wrestlemania 40 marks the first time that the biggest event will take place in the Northeast since WrestleMania 35 in 2019, from the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. WrestleMania was hosted in the city of Philadelphia back in 1999 with WrestleMania 15. That event Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated The Rock for the WWE Championship in the first of three major WrestleMania events between the two top stars.

WrestleMania 39 is now less than a year away, with both nights scheduled to take place in SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on April 1 and April 2.
