WWE Draft 2022 reportedly exists in the internal calendar of the company to shake things up, for good. With Vince McMahon leaving the creative duties, things have been fresh under Triple H’s regime. A lot of happening is currently going on to bring back the reasons for sticking to the WWE programming. Plus, we may expect to have a proper distinction between the red and blue brands.
Sean Sapp reported from behind Fightful’s paywall about the current plans for holding WWE Draft 2022. As per the current schedule of the company, there’s an internal belief among the talent that the draft is bound to happen sooner than later. In fact, it could very well be happening at the beginning of next month.

Given the current circumstances in the WWE, many roster movements have been noticed, and most talents believe that there could be more on the way leading to WWE Draft 2022. Also, a number of Raw Superstars are scheduled for the first Smackdown following Clash at the Castle on September 9th.
On the flip side, several Smackdown talents were always scheduled for Raw episodes for the September 4 and 11 dates (At this point, not much crossover appearances are happening unlike the Vince McMahon-era) This is one of the key reasons that led the talents to speculate that WWE Draft 2022 edition will be shortly happening now that Clash at the Castle PPV is over.
Superstar may get repackaged around WWE Draft 2022
It has also been noted that more superstars could get repackaged down the road with the WWE Draft 2022 season right around the corner,
“Talent have not had this confirmed to them yet, but there have been other things they have said to lead them to believe to the case. We’re told that writers have noted that repackages are also more likely following this date as opposed to the immediate future.
For some of the talent that are wildly speculated to get repackaged (which haven’t been confirmed) like Max Dupri. Thus far, talent we’ve heard from haven’t been informed explicitly about a draft, much less what brand they’ll end up on if and when it happens.”
Triple H was promoted to be the top in charge of the WWE Creative Team after Vince McMahon retired. WWE fans have demanded this change to happen for a long time and they finally got their wish true. The Game intends to bring in more former WWE Superstars onboard to give the WWE roster depth and this should give the creative team more options before starting planning around WWE Draft 2022.
