Extreme Rules 2022 is going to be the latest upcoming premium live event to be offered by the WWE, this weekend. This will be the next PLE in the WWE calendar followed by September 3rd Clash at the Castle in the United Kingdom and the prior one before November’s Crown Jewel set from Saudi Arabia.
Also, Extreme Rules 2022 is the first time ever that the event will be hosted on a Saturday night and in the month of October. The 14th installment of the Extreme Rules chronology will go down from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, meaning WWE is returning to its root of Philly for the most extreme night of the year.

On Saturday, October 8, Extreme Rules 2022 will be streaming, live on Peacock around the United States. Due to the time difference, the event will take place on Sunday, October 9 morning in India via WWE Network/Sony SPN Network and the Sony LIV app. The WWE Network Specials is listed at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET (Saturday, October 8) | 12 AM GMT (Sunday, October 9) and 5:30 AM IST (Sunday, October 9).

There’s no confirmed update on which match will serve as the main event of Extreme Rules 2022. Since the beginning of this event chronology, this will be the first time that no Men’s Division Title won’t be on the line while two women’s division titles will be defended. Plus, each of the matches for the PLE night will be contested under different gimmicks, living up to the Extreme Rules shtick.
