In the opening match of Hell in a Cell 2022, Asuka vs. Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair (c) in a Triple Threat took place for the Raw Women’s Championship. With that, Belair’s title reign continues on Raw that starting from Wrestlemania 38.

The match at Hell in a Cell 2022 was a slugfest featuring the three top women superstars of the Raw brand. The finishing sequences saw Asuka hitting a German Suplex on Lynch but she missed a running hip attack into the ropes. Suing the No-DQ rules of a Triple Threat, Lynch grabbed the Dis-arm-her in the ropes. Belair came in from the apron and tried for a KOD but Lynch escaped the hold.

Asuka then got Lynch in the Asuka Lock. Lynch tried to pin Asuka with a roll-up but Asuka kicked out and kept Lynch in the Asuka Lock. Belair missed a double stomp from the top rope on both the women. Asuka charged Belair but Belair hoisted up Asuka for a Glam Slam and eventually slammed her facefirst into the top turnbuckle. Lynch hit the Manhandle Slam on Asuka but Belair threw Lynch out of the ring and pinned Asuka to get the win at Hell in a Cell 2022.

Lynch was stunned after getting robbed off the victory while Belair celebrated her win. Belair remains the current Raw Women’s Champion whose title run has now surpassed two months. She is also a former SmackDown Women’s Champion, 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble winner, and WrestleMania main eventer. She is also the only woman in WWE history to win both the current women’s titles on two back-to-back Wrestlemanias.

Hell in a Cell 2022: WWE US Title Match Result

In the other title match from Hell in a Cell 2022, Theory defeated Mustafa Ali via pinfall to retain the WWE United States Championship. This time around, there were no ringside shenanigans around the match as Theory picked up a clean pinfall win.

Theory pulled Ali’s neck across the top rope but Ali caught him with a tilt-a-whirl DDT. Ali went to the top rope but missed a 450-Splash. Theory targeted Ali’s knee and picked him up to connect with the A-Town Down for the pin to win. Thus Theory’s title run continues with the US title following Hell in a Cell 2022. It began with Theory picking up a win over the former champion Finn Balor.
