Legendary Hulk Hogan is inching closer to becoming 70 but he always had an intention to perform in one last match in a WWE ring. The fact that he never got a farewell match in the biggest wrestling promotion, ate him up. Per the previous reports, he requested Vince McMahon a lot about getting that match but the WWE Chairman was never keen on allowing him to do so.
Hulk Hogan is a moniker that has become synonymous with the world of professional wrestling and perhaps Vince didn’t want to change that thing. The 68-year-old wrestler having won six WWE Championships during his career had his last match in the WWE more than 15 years ago and that won’t change. In a recent interview, Hulkster has confirmed that he will never wrestle again.

In an interview with the “Two Man Power Trip” podcast, Hulk Hogan again mentioned his wish for having that farewell match but due to the injuries he has had over the years, that match is literally impossible.
“No, no, no, no, no,” The Immortal One answered when asked if he would ever return to the ring. “In the last 10 years, I’ve had 23 surgeries, 10 back surgeries, both hips, both knees — forget it.”

Hulk Hogan also thought his last match opponent’s name
Hulk Hogan then revealed his thoughts that he’d be 100 percent ready to return to the ring if it wasn’t for the ailments. Plus, he already had an opponent in mind,
“If I was healthy, shoot — yeah, man, all day long.”
“The first one I’m trying to pick off would be Roman [Reigns], then I’d like to get to Brock [Lesnar], but good God, I’d be in a wheelchair by the time I get done with that.”
Without a doubt, Hulk Hogan remains a wrestling icon whose career spanned almost 35 years across different promotions, namely WCW, WWE, Impact, and more. His final WWE match was in 2006 against Randy Orton but he did wrestle in Impact after that match.
Then he returned to the WWE in the last decade to make some appearances in non-physical roles. It doesn’t really matter whether he ever returns to the ring as fans will always consider him as one of the greats and a bonafide WWE Hall of Famer.
