WWE is hosting WrestleMania 38 on Saturday, April 2, and Sunday, April 3 in Dallas from the biggest venue in Dallas, Texas. The capacity from the AT&T Stadium is expected to reach over 100,000, each night. To make sure that happens, it seems like WWE will bring back a familiar face on the biggest event.
As noted Wrestlemania 38 will bring along a huge crowd and reports are all over the place on how WWE has been pulling out all the stops to try to sell out the show. There have been speculations that WWE has contacted WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin for a potential return to the ring for the first time in 19 years to face Kevin Owens.
The former WWE Universal Champion has also been fueling up the speculations of the match by going bad-mouth about the ‘hell-hole known as Texas’ on social media as well as on recent editions of Monday Night RAW.

Now, WWE Raw commentator Corey Graves has also teased a “familiar face” returning to WWE between now and WrestleMania 38 during the latest episode of the WWE After the Bell Podcast. The star of the Corey and Carmella show on YouTube stated that it’s a situation where only the smart people would know that he’s adding more gas to the fire on a potentially big return.
“And who knows, if the rumors do in fact prove to be true, we may have another familiar face back in the fold between now and The Showcase of the Immortals,” Corey Graves said about Wrestlemania 38.
“This is one of those ones where: if you know, you know. I’m not going to speak to it any longer. I’m going to feed the rumor mill, that’s what I’m doing, I’m feeding the rumor mill. I’m stoking the flames and I am pouring gas on the fire. If the rumors are true, I couldn’t be more thrilled.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)

Apart from Stone Cold’s appearance, another name is being rumored to make his WWE return and that’s Cody Rhodes who announced his departure from AEW in recent times. Consequence-wise, he was referenced by several WWE superstars, including Edge and The Miz, on recent episodes of RAW. The son of Dusty Rhodes didn’t appear at the Elimination Chamber event in Saudi Arabia but he was scheduled to travel to the WWE Performance Center to film contents regarding his return.
