Nikki Bella will feature in a new reality series around her wedding
The final costume that Nikki Bella chose for her wedding day was one of four shortlisted items. The other dresses will be revealed in the upcoming show named “Nikki Says I Do” special that will air next year. The former Total Divas star expressed her emotions from that special day and on that special occasion,
“The cool thing about being a bride is the fashion journey you get to go on.”
“This is your time to shine and be a star. Sometimes I feel like some people are scared to express themselves in fashion, so they hold back in real life. When it’s your wedding, it’s time to be fearless.”
It was also revealed that one of Nikki Bella’s four outfits was originally purchased during her previous engagement to John Cena, with whom she split up in 2018. Cena proposed to her during WrestleMania 33 in 2017 to set up a marriage in May of next year. Moving forward, the two called it a quit after realizing different priorities in life.
“I had two beautiful dresses that I loved, and they were going to be for a different marriage, but they were my dream and I love them. So, I brought them out to see if I could make them work,” Nikki Bella stated to Brides while noting her previous dress choosing moment.
“What brides will realize when they start searching for the dress is that what you wear is about you as a woman. It has nothing to do with the person that you’re marrying or the people that are attending. It has everything to do with what you’ve envisioned for yourself and how you feel … I bought those dresses for me.”
After splitting up with Cena, Nikki Bella started dating his Dancing with the Stars partner Artem Chigvintsev in late 2018. Less than a year after they started dating, the pair got engaged in November 2019. They originally planned to go through their marriage ceremony in 2020 but things had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the summer of 2020, Bella also welcomed their now 2-year-old son, Matteo.
