Sami Zayn is the latest inclusion into the men’s WWE Money In The Bank 2022 ladder match. During the June 24 episode of WWE SmackDown, Zayn defeated Shinsuke Nakamura to qualify for the upcoming ladder match to be contested for a future world championship opportunity.
Zayn was taken out by Nakamura with a Kinshasa, outside the ring but after Zayn was rolled back into the ring. He ran through his opponent with the Helluva Kick to get a clean pin-fall win. With this win, Zayn will be making his third appearance in the Money In The Bank match after competing in the 2016 and 2017 editions.

More drama unfolded regarding the men’s Money in the Bank 2022 match as WWE Official Adam Pearce announced on Smackdown that Drew and Sheamus were no longer included in the annual bout.
But they would get another opportunity to enter the fray if they managed to defeat the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos in the main event. McIntyre claymore-d Jimmy Uso in that match to get the pinfall win and thereby secure both his and Sheamus’ spot for Money in the Bank 2022. Apart from McIntyre, Sheamus, and Zayn, Seth Rollins and Omos are the other two superstars who had qualified.

Shotzi has been chosen to be the sixth participant for Money In The Bank 2022 ladder match from the women’s division. During the June 24 episode of WWE SmackDown, Shotzi defeated Tamina to qualify. Shotzi picked up the win after planting Tamina with the Never Wake Up DDT. Originally, Shotzi was scheduled to face Aliyah in the qualifier but the latter was unable to compete due to an injury.
Shotzi will thus be making her MITB ladder match debut ten days from now. Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Lacey Evans, and Asuka are the other five confirmed participants of the match.
