Ronda Rousey created a wave around the WWE for the past couple of days ever since releasing a video on her Youtube channel. She gave a major update on the future of her pro-wrestling career which is not positive by any means. As per the earlier reports, she is willing to become a mother and hence we will not see her in competition for a long time. She even hinted that WWE may not see her back, at all.
Why Ronda Rousey was furious on WWE?
Additionally, Ronda Rousey provided some insider scoop about her WWE stint which was not going to be long enough. He was about to quit the pro-wrestling stint months ago as the plan of starting a family was always a priority for her. But circumstances did not allow her to pull an end to the ongoing stint.
As seen on the Youtube Video, ‘the baddest woman on the planet’ was not going to continue until this year’s Wrestlemania. Starting from last year’s April, she may have continued until November. Having a baby was always in her mind but the situation was not right to stop as she was the women’s champion. Here’s more from Ronda Rousey about her WWE career,
“Originally I approached them, I thought I’d only be able to wrestle from WrestleMania till November because we already wanted to start a family and we came to the WWE like ‘hey before we have a baby I just want to be able to come and do this for twelve months’ and then it just kind of snowballed into instead of being a small detour in my life, became my whole life for an entire year and I completely fell in love with it.”
WWE crowned Ronda Rousey with the Raw women’s championship at Summerslam 2018. The afterward phase was perhaps the best in the women’s division history as they got their own PPV named Evolution. Also, the road to the first-ever Women’s Wrestlemania main event started around her. So it was obviously not possible for her to quit and ruin all of those,
“And as time went on and I was in the company, were playing it by ear, and I loved it so much, and I ended up getting the title and then when it became a real possibility that women could be the main event of WrestleMania I decided to stick around.”
Some of the WWE Universe is not fond of seeing Ronda Rousey in the squared circle. They don’t support the fact that she was the main reason behind the Wrestlemania main event. But without her presence, there was no way that WWE could have culminated the women’s Evolution in 2019. Already they have canceled the women’s Evolution PPV due to her absence. Hence we should acknowledge the contribution she left on the female roster in this short stint.
