WWE NXT offered a massive 20-woman battle royal in the main event to crown a new challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship. WWE NXT UK Tag Team Championships were on the line on the show where NXT Champion also returned after a week’s hiatus. Check out the results from the night that took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
– Last week’s heel-turn by Cora Jade against Roxanne Perez was projected via a video after which we received the opening match of WWE NXT where JD McDonagh defeated Cameron Grimes. McDonagh hammered on Grimes’ left knee in the ropes to injure it and then connect with his finisher for the win.

– One half of WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions, Cora jade threw her women’s tag team title belt into a trash can after a promo session to explain her turn-on against the other tag champ, Roxanne Perez. She admittedly attacked Perez to steal the latter’s spot in the NXT Women’s Title Match against Mandy Rose.
– The Diamond Mine’s Roderick Strong defeated Damon Kemp in a singles contest after Tony D’Angelo appeared on the tron and showed that he and his family members took out the Creed Brothers. The distraction allowed Strong to hit a knee from behind to get the win. After the match, both Strong and Kemp went to check on the Creed Brothers.
WWE Raw MSG: Roman Reigns; Rey Mysterio Anniversary And More Announced
– Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen (c) (with Fallon Henley) defeated Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson) to retain the WWE NXT UK Tag Team Championships. Prince wanted to cheat using the tag team title belts but Henley took those away from Wilson to cause the distraction. Briggs and Jensen capitalized and hit their finisher on Wilson for the pin to win.
– Identity of The Dyads revealed who was Jagger Reed (fka James Drake) and Rip Fowler (fka Zack Gibson) (the two former members of Grizzled Young Veterans).
WWE NXT 2.0 Results (19/07/22): Bron Breakker Returns
– WWE NXT Champion Bron Breakker returned after a week’s hiatus and demanded JD McDonagh confront him after a sneak attack at the Great American Bash. JD rather appeared on the tron and promised to take the NXT title away from him Bron.
– Solo Sikoa was attacked by Von Wagner during his entrance into the arena.
– Axiom made his WWE NXT debut by defeating Dante Chen. The masked superstar hit a diving crossbody off the top rope followed by a kick to the head to get the pinfall win.
– Zoey Stark won the 20-Woman Battle Royal in the main event to become the new Number-one Contender For WWE NXT Women’s Championship.
Yulisa Leon, Sloane Jacobs, Lash Legend, Tatum Paxley, Tiffany Stratton, Elektra Lopez, Arianna Grace, Valentina Feroz, Kiana James, Wendy Choo, Amari Miller, Fallon Henley, Indi Hartwell, Cora Jade, Alba Fyre, Nikkita Lyons, Katana Chance, Kayden Carter, Ivy Nile and the winner Zoey Stark were participants of this matchup.
Stark eliminated Stratton and started celebrating when Cora Jade, who was never eliminated tried to attack her from behind. Stark managed to send her over the top rope to win the battle royal. Her celebration continued as WWE NXT went off the air.
