AJ Styles was the main event attraction on this week’s WWE NXT who shut up current rival Grayson Waller via a win. Pete Dunne was in action on the show in a special stipulated match. Also, the new NXT Champion started his reign at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Check out the results from the show,
– WWE NXT 2.0 kicked off with Bron Breakker celebrating his NXT Championship win. Bron said in a promo that at the end of his match against Tommaso Ciampa, the veteran told him that it’s his time, and he will prove it to be a fighting Champion, every week.

– Santos Escabor defeated Xyon Quinn after Elektra Lopez turned on Quinn and kicked him in the balls. Escobar pinned him in the ring using his Phantom Driver finisher. Per the stipulation of the match, Lopez besided herself with Escobar.
– Cameron Grimes defeated Damon Kemp in the next match of WWE NXT. After a crossbody, Grimes hit the Cave-In finisher to pin Kemp in a dominant win.
– Von Wagner has been fined and suspended by the WWE Disciplinary Committee for his ruthless actions.
WWE NXT 2.0 Results (28/12/21): Dusty Cup qualifier
– Malik Blade and Edris Enofe defeated Joe Gacy and Harland via DQ in WWE NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Qualifier. Harland slammed Blade face-first into the turnbuckles over and over as the referee called for the match.
– Tony D’Angelo defeated Pete Dunne in a Crowbar on a Pole Match. Tony sent Dunne spine-first on a chair and then hit him with a crowbar shot to the face as he approached to get the pinfall win.
WWE Is In Talks With All Elite Wrestling For An Upcoming Project
– WWE NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose was shown in a photoshoot as she bragged about Toxic Attraction. We also heard from NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin who said that no one in the NXT women’s division can compete against them.
– Indi Hartwell, Persia Pirotta, and Wendy Choo defeated Kacy Catanzaro, Kayden Carter, and Amari Miller in a six-woman tag team action. Persia spiked Miller into the mat as Indi followed up with a top rope elbow to the back of the neck for the pin to win.
– Solo Sikoa vs. Boa ended in a Double Count-Out as they continued brawling outside the ring. After the match, they continued the brawl when Boa transformed into the Dark Boa and shot a fireball in Sikoa’s face.
– Trick Williams and WWE NXT North American and Cruiserweight Champion Carmelo Hayes held a moment of silence for ending Roderick Strong’s Cruiserweight Championship reign. Carmelo claimed himself to be the most scintillating champion in NXT 2.0 and then also claimed the North American Championship around his waist is the ‘A Championship’.
– AJ Styles defeated Grayson Waller in the main event of WWE NXT. AJ dropped Waller with a Brainbuster and then connected with the Phenomenal Forearm to get the clean pinfall win. After the match, Styles said that Waller’s night is not over as one of his friends had unfinished business. LA Knight then attacked Waller shook AJ’s hand to end the show.
