WWE NXT Results (11/05/21): Women’s Title Match; Cruiserweight Title Match

This week’s WWE NXT from the Capitola Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida had Women’s and Cruiserweight titles on the line. A new faction was born while the NXT Champion was also in action in the opening segment. Check out the results from the show,

– WWE NXT Champion Karrion Kross defeated Austin Theory in the first match of the night via the Straitjacket submission. Following the match, Finn Balor appeared from behind to demand his rematch for the NXT Title. Kross agreed to the match as it was made official for the May 25 episode.

– WWE NXT Tag Team Champions MSK – Wes Lee and Nash Carter defeated Breezango – Tyler Breeze and Fandango in the second match of the night.

– Pete Dunne competed in a match against Leon Ruff that ended via Referee Stoppage. Dunne locked in submission and delivered some elbow strikes as the official called off the match.

In-ring debut announced on WWE NXT

– Franky Monet, former Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie was announced to make her in-ring debut on May 25 episode.

– WWE NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez (c) retained in her match against Mercedes Martinez. Gonzalez downed her opponent with a big boot and then powerbomb-ed her way to the victory.

– A video package aired of Cameron Grimes who was bidding for a house at a price of $2 million. No one was hoped to outbid him except for a mystery man. Grimes then offered $8 million but mystery man placed a bid of $20 million. That mystery man appeared to be WWE Hall Of Famer Ted DiBiase. The Million Dollar Man delivered his iconic phrase, “everybody’s got a price…” before leaving.

– Isaiah “Swerve” Scott announced a new faction named Hit Row Records with the members of the group being Top Dolla, Ashante Adonis, and B Fab.

Update: Roman Reigns Using WWE Career To Springboard In Hollywood

– Kyle O’Reilly defeated Oney Lorcan in a singles contest. O’Reilly went to the top rope and delivered a flying knee-drop to get the pinfall win. After the match, Pete Dunne attacked Kyle from behind. But Bobby Fish came out in a huge pop to make the save. Fish then reminded that he does have some score to settle with Kyle.

– The main event of WWE NXT saw a 2 Out Of 3 Falls Main Event Match where Kushida (c) defeated Santos Escobar with the 2-1 score to retain his NXT Cruiserweight Championship. Kushida launched Escobar into the turnbuckles and then hit him with a modified Dragon Suplex for the pinfall win.
