Brock Lesnar is apparently booked to work overtime on WWE TV in the early part of 2022. With the absence of the top champion in Roman Reigns, this is the best that WWE might have to offer, for now. The WWE Champion is already advertised to appear on this week’s Smackdown. Besides, he’s also likely to show up on next week’s episode of Raw.
Brock Lesnar is still being advertised as a Smackdown Superstar but it appears that he’ll be sticking around on RAW for some time. On the official website of next Monday’s RAW in Philadelphia, the Wells Fargo Center announced that the WWE Champion will be at the venue this upcoming Monday.
“JUST ANNOUNCED!” a tweet from the Wells Fargo Center noted. “The New WWE Champion, “The Beast” Brock Lesnar will be live in Philly Next Monday for Monday Night RAW!”
WWE Smackdown: Brock Lesnar Added For A Potential Confrontation With Roman Reigns
With this, Brock Lesnar will make the second straight appearance on WWE’s flagship show. He appeared this week alongside his long-time manager and advocate which also marked the reunion for the two of them after a hiatus of almost two long years. This happened after his WWE Championship victory at WWE Day 1 in a five-way match involving former WWE Champion Big E, Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens, and Seth Rollins.

Brock Lesnar became WWE Champion at Day 1
Originally, Brock Lesnar was scheduled to face WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WWE Day 1. But he was added to the WWE Championship match, instead of after Roman tested positive with COVID-19. It wasn’t announced when the due Reigns-Lesnar rematch will take place but it has been reported the expected match could still go down at the main event slot of Wrestlemania 38.
To continue that storyline, The Beast will be appearing on this week’s episode of Smackdown as he intends to confront the Universal Champion. However, there’s no confirmation if Roman has gone over from his COVID-19 state.
In the meantime, Brock Lesnar will also defend the WWE Championship against Bobby Lashley in a dream singles bout. Lashley earned the right to be called the number-one contender for the WWE Title, last night on RAW, defeating Big E, Owens, and Rollins in a fatal four-way match. Lesnar vs. Lashley was confirmed to take place at the Royal Rumble 2022 PPV.
