A significant change has been said to be occurred for top WWE Raw Superstar Kevin Owens due to the increasing popularity of Sami Zayn. For the past several weeks, the latter has suddenly become one of the most popular stars of the WWE due to his involvement with The Bloodline. The Canadian Superstar is showing efforts to be under a good impression of Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
While these efforts have been noticed by the champion and the WWE Universe, it caused hatred in Reigns’ cousin, Jey Uso. The two have been involved in some hilarious segments on Smackdown, garnering audience reactions that are becoming louder. Many believe that this is the most stable that Zayn has been since arriving on WWE’s main roster.

But this indirect push may have reportedly come at the expense of his longtime friend and WWE Raw roster member Kevin Owens. Going by the recent reports, WWE had seemingly been planting the seeds for a reunion between Zayn and Owens as the latter had been warning Zayn about getting involved with The Bloodline during sporadic cross-brand appearances.

WrestleVotes, while speaking to GiveMeSport, has reported that Zayn’s recent popularity due to his storyline with The Bloodline has put plans for Owens on halt for the time being. The former Universal Champion has also not been seen on WWE Raw, as of late, possibly due to the change of plans.
“He was pegged to get involved with Sami and The Bloodline, but that’s white hot right now,” WrestleVotes said. “Those plans from what I’ve been told are definitely pushed back, but they’re not off, because the plan is for Kevin Owens to be with Sami Zayn.”
“Whatever they had planned for Kevin Owens is totally on pause because this stuff with Sami doesn’t come around often. This was supposed to be a little three, four-week comedy deal, and it’s getting big.”
Amid the recent absence from WWE Raw, Owens most recently appeared on the October 18 episode of NXT as he was seen hosting The KO Show ahead of the Halloween Havoc premium live event featuring the NXT Champion Bron Breakker and his two previous challengers JD McDonagh and Ilja Dragunov.
