Fallouts from the 35th annual Summerslam 2022 will be showcased on this week’s episode of WWE Raw. Multiple returns on men’s and women’s rosters had possibly shaken things up as things are likely to be interesting for the red brand. Also, programs around Clash at the Castle could kick off on the show that takes place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

In the main event of Saturday’s WWE SummerSlam 2022 premium live event, Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing match to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Despite the repetitive booking, the match received high praises from the fans as something unthinkable spots were seen like the ring being lifted from one side during a match.

WWE Summerslam 2022: Becky Lynch Possibly Injured After Title Match Against Bianca Belair

WWE Raw Preview (01/08/22): Summerslam 2022 Fallouts 1

In the end, The Bloodline helped Roman to retain his belt and thus allowing him to be the top champion for both WWE Raw and Smackdown. Lesnar’s defeat has possibly sidelined him from WWE programming for the time being and he’s not being advertised for Clash at the Castle, too.

As for Roman Reigns, the dual champion hasn’t been also officially announced to appear on tonight’s episode. But he’s confirmed to face Drew McIntyre for the undisputed title at Clash at the Castle.

WWE Raw: Update On Women’s Division Returnees At Summerslam 2022

In the WWE Raw Women’s Championship Match at Summerslam, Bianca Belair defeated Becky Lynch to retain her title via a clean pinfall win. After the match, Bianca and Becky showed respect to each other as they hugged it out in the ring. This possibly had turned Becky into a babyface figure, moving on.

Moments after this, Bayley returned from a one-year-long hiatus and she wasn’t alone. Dakota Kai returned to WWE and Io Shirai also joined her as the trio has possibly formed a faction to be functioning on WWE Raw. They confronted and wanted to attack Bianca, but Becky solidified her babyface turn to help Bianca. The fresh storyline featuring these should be progressed starting with tonight.

WWE Raw Preview (01/08/22): Edge vs. Finn Balor in the making?

WWE Raw Preview (01/08/22): Summerslam 2022 Fallouts 2

In the No Disqualification Match at Summerslam, The Mysterios (Dominik and Rey Mysterio) defeated The Judgment Day (Finn Balor and Damian Priest) in a tag team match. The win was via assistance from WWE Hall of Famer Edge who returned with a new look to seek redemption against Balor and Priest.

Edge speared Finn and Damian, helping Mysterios in winning the match. Now that the Rated-R Superstar is back on board, it’s expected that he would continue his feud with Judgment Day to culminate in a new match, possibly against Finn Balor. The match could happen at Clash at the Castle and we expect to learn more about it on this week’s WWE Raw.

On the red brand, Bobby Lashley is still the United States Champion as he defeated Mr. Money In The Bank to retain his title. Also, The Usos defeated Street Profits to retain the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships (Jeff Jarrett was the Special Guest Referee). Over on WWE Raw, the next challengers for them could be revealed.
