With Elimination Chamber 2022 in the history books, WWE Raw will officially begin its journey towards Wrestlemania 38. Nothing for the night including appearances or matches has been confirmed, so far but we believe there would be a lot of fallouts from the bygone PPV when the show takes place at the Colonial Life Arena, Columbia, South Carolina.
Brock Lesnar won the WWE Championship by winning the Men’s Elimination Chamber match at the bygone PPV while Universal Champion Roman Reigns retained over WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg. Now, these two are set for a title vs. title Winner Take All bout at Wrestlemania. There’s no update, as of this writing whether any of these two champions will be on WWE Raw to continue their ongoing program.
But at least a few storylines should begin on WWE Raw, as per the rumor mills, eyeing big matchups for Wrestlemania 38. During a text-based Q&A session on Fightful Select, Sean Ross Sapp previously mentioned that there’s a possibility of finally seeing Edge facing AJ Styles at The Biggest Event of the Year.
The match has apparently been pitched backstage in WWE and possibly this could be the reason why both these superstars aren’t involved in any angles on WWE Raw. Edge has been off TV since winning his scheduled match at Royal Rumble while AJ had unsuccessful chases to both the WWE and United States Championships.

On Saturday’s WWE Elimination Chamber Kickoff pre-show, Rey Mysterio defeated The Miz. Dominik Mysterio got involved in the match to help out his dad while both of The Mysterios also took The Miz out after the match. Kevin Patrick later interviewed The Miz where he teased that he will secure a new tag team partner to even the odds against Rey and Dominik.
Miz never named the person but only noted that he will find a superb athlete to team with, someone who is a global star. In an update to the story, the backstage belief is that the current plan is for Logan Paul to return to WWE to team with The Miz, according to PWInsider. As the storyline will progress on WWE Raw Miz and Paul vs. The Mysterios will become a WrestleMania 38 tag team match.
WWE Raw Preview (21/02/22): Stone Cold’s return being planned

Stone Cold Steve Austin’s impending return to WWE programming is also on the cards as his predicted opponent for Wrestlemania, Kevin Owens seemingly took a shot at the WWE Hall of Famer on Sunday while responding to a fan’s tweet.
Owens stated the following, “Sounds like a really lame place” while sharing his thoughts on Victoria, Texas, the hometown of Austin. “Read my lips. I can’t stand Texas,” Owens said on last week’s WWE RAW. “I despise Texas and everything about it.” The angle should continue, this week to make way for the Texas Rattlesnake on WWE TV.

As reported earlier, there have been some wide speculations about Austin will finally coming out of retirement at the upcoming WrestleMania 38 edition in Dallas, Texas. The latest report noted that Austin vs. Owens should be on the card for the event and this should be the reason why the latter has been trash-talking about the state of Texas. More on this angle should unfold on the post-Elimination Chamber episode of WWE Raw.
