A number of announcements for this upcoming edition of WWE RAW have been made, last night in order to hype it up. A new “In Your Face” theme for this Monday’s RAW episode on the USA Network has been unveiled, firstly replacing the original ‘Legendary’ theme. Then an array of matches was confirmed on SmackDown to attract the audience.
WWE Raw: Steel Cage Match & More Matches Announced For Monday
A Steel Cage match between Dominik Mysterio and Seth Rollins will be going down which is also supposed to be the main event for WWE Raw. This would mark the third one-on-one bout between these two in a stipulated environment where the winner will be decided via pinfall, submission, or by escaping the cage, as per the traditional rules of this kind of matchup.

A match inside the Steel Cage ensures that there won’t be any interference during this match on WWE RAW. Earlier, Seth Rollins defeated Dominik in the latter’s debut match at SummerSlam 2020 whereas the post-Payback episode of Raw witnessed Rollins again pinning junior Mysterio in a Triple Threat Qualifier. It’ll be interesting of Dominik could seek redemption against The Messiah.
The loaded line-up for the upcoming WWE Raw would also see the WWE Champion in action. Drew McIntyre will return to in-ring action for the first time since SummerSlam in a non-title match against Keith Lee. This does tease an upcoming feud between the two as Lee wasn’t happy after McIntyre interfered his match against Randy Orton, last week.
It was already announced that WWE Raw will be coming back with the Brand Invitational, next week. A Champions vs Champions showdown will be there where SmackDown Tag champs Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura will face the Raw tag champs The Street Profits. Also, WWE Raw Women’s Title will be on the line when Mickie James challenges Asuka for the belt.
WWE will be facing a lot of competition on TV as the NFL will return. There will be games in the NBA Playoffs and the NHL Playoffs that could lower down the ratings and hence these announcements are precautionary measures. WWE Raw will emanate from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida aka WWE ThunderDome, and here is the updated line-up for the show,
