The Miz opted to leave the ring as Veer Mahaan made his entrance and immediately dropped Dominik in the corner. Rey tried to make the save but he fought off Rey with more shots. Mahaan planted The Mysterios with ease and then punished Dominik with a modified Camel Clutch submission to make him tap out. Following the torture act, he finally let go of the hold and posed over Dominik to end the segment.

The way Veer Mahaan has been presented on Raw, it’s almost certain that he would be a heel, moving forward. For months now, his return had become one of the biggest jokes of the internet wrestling community as WWE continued to air “coming soon” vignettes around him, since October 25. WWE officials also became aware of the memes flowing all over social media for stretching the vignettes for almost six months.

Real-name Rinku Singh, Veer Mahaan is billed from India who is also known as a former MLB player who also featured in the “Million Dollar Arm” movie and reality TV show. He was signed by WWE in January 2018 after spending some time with the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball organization. His TV name used to be Rinku of the WWE NXT tag team Indus Sher, with Saurav Gurjar.

Then, he was called to the main roster in May of last year to work as Veer. This short name was then converted to Veer Mahaan in late 2021. His tag partners Shanky and Jinder Mahal were sent to SmackDown in the WWE Draft while he was repackaged as a monstrous force on Raw.
