We have reported earlier that WWE is pulling all the stops to make SmackDown Live a successful show when it moves to the FOX Network. From October 4th onwards, the show will air on this platform, every Friday night in the prime slot. But FOX officials want more viewership to make it more sport-oriented show. This is why WWE needs some big names on board.

One of the major steps to make Smackdown successful as well as draw more rating was to invite Donald Trump on the show. The President of the United States of America has maintained a good relationship with Vince McMahon and Co. that make us believe the appearance can happen.

However, the recent update is negative on a potential show-up of Donald Trump on the FOX Network presented Smackdown show. He might be too busy in the month of October to make a TV show appearance. So the chances are pretty less that we could see him back on WWE programming.

Brad Shepard revealed on Oh You Didn’t Know Patreon account that Donald Trump will be way too busy in October to show up on WWE television. WWE officials primarily wanted him in the beginning episodes on the new host network to garner the biggest attention. But the packed schedule of POTUS will not allow the powerful man on the show,

“In a Patreon exclusive update, I’m told President Trump is expected to politely decline the invitation due to his schedule.”

As noted earlier, bringing Donald Trump on SmackDown could benefit TV programming to a huge extent. It could break the TV viewership record considering how much mainstream audience WWE can receive through this segment. But there could be numerous other reasons why Trump’s office might decide to decline the offer. Things can get political that may be avoided at any cost. Rather, WWE should try a lot of less controversial guests on Smackdown when it moves to FOX Sports.

WWE had a working relationship with Donald Trump in the past since he was good friends with Vince McMahon. We have seen him taking over Raw and even Wrestlemania, too. But with the responsibility of a nation on his shoulder, he may not appear on WWE TV, anymore.
