WrestleMania Backlash fallouts will be gathered on this week’s episode of SmackDown that should also mark the beginning of builds for WWE Hell In a Cell 2021. New storylines for the prime titles should begin while a massive main event is stored for the Intercontinental Championship. A Fatal-4-Way will go down when the show airs from the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.
In the main event of WrestleMania Backlash, Cesaro challenged Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship. The Swiss Cyborg brought the best of efforts in his very first world title match but that wasn’t enough to keep the champion, down. Without any assistance from Paul Heyman or Jey Uso, the Tribal Chief choked out his opponent with the Guillotine submission.
WWE Planning Hair Vs Hair Match To Wrap Title Feud On Smackdown?
Now, he will move forward to his next challenge and it is going be Jimmy Uso, going by the storyline. For the past couple of weeks on SmackDown, the elder Uso denied falling in line with the Head of the Table. Rather, he is happy to spread the ‘nobody’s b**ch’ message written on his shirt, despite the persuasion by his brother Jey.
Following his win at Backlash, Roman Reigns took to Twitter to send a message to Jimmy Uso. He denied responding to any sort of calls and messages from his cousin. The message ended indicating a confrontation between the two of them on SmackDown. We’ll have to wait and see whether the next Universal Title Match between these two gets booked during this segment.

WWE Smackdown Preview (21/05/21): Seth Rollins vs Cesaro continues
After Roman Reigns emerged victorious over Cesaro, Jey Uso started attacking Cesaro, and shortly after that, Seth Rollins came out to have a staredown with Roman Reigns. Then he set his sights on Cesaro who was left in a destroyed state by ringside. A chair attack was finished with a brutal Curb Stomp.
It genuinely hints that Seth Rollins and Cesaro is on collision course, once again and this time they may fight inside the Hell in a Cell structure. For now, the SmackDown Savior advised Roman Reigns to take care of the situation with Jimmy Uso. If The Tribal Chief doesn’t keep the situation under control, then he will run into trouble with Rollins.
Apollo Crews decided to facilitate his associate Commander Azeez with great Nigerian Honor on last week’s SmackDown for helping him out over the past several weeks. But the scene turned out to be chaotic as the potential contenders for the title ran into the ring to bring utter chaos to it.
Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Big E were involved in the brawl that resulted in Crews heading straight into Adam Pearce’s office to make things right. In return, the champion was awarded a sudden title defense in the toughest way possible. Now Apollo Crews will have to defend against Kevin, Sami, and E in a Fatal-4-Way Match. Needless to say that the existing title run is in sheer jeopardy.
A historic title change was witnessed at WrestleMania Backlash when Rey and Dominik Mysterio became the first-ever father-son duo to hold tag team championships. They defeated Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode to earn the feat who will now enter SmackDown as new champs. What new challenge could be waiting for them? We’ll find out when Friday night’s hottest show airs on FOX.
