The post-Elimination Chamber episode of WWE SmackDown takes place this week where the headliner segment will feature the two top champions of the company. Both the WWE and Universal Champions will be there on the show to have a confrontation.
A rematch from the bygone Elimination Chamber PLE will be there when Drew McIntyre battles Madcap Moss in a singles bout. Also, a celebration segment has been announced for the new WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn on WWE Smackdown that is scheduled from the GIANT Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Brock Lesnar literally bulldozed his way to victory in his s first Elimination Chamber outing to win the WWE Championship. He already punched his ticket to The Show of Shows with the Royal Rumble win but now, it will be a Title vs. Title Match against Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
This comes after the top-most WWE Smackdown superstar Roman Reigns “Goldberg’d Goldberg” to continue with his longest reign with the Universal Championship in the two years in the making bout at Elimination Chamber 2022. After choking out the WWE Hall of Famer with the Guillotine Submission hold, he’s all set to square off with The Beast Incarnate at Wrestlemania 38.
Now the post-Elimination Chamber edition of WWE SmackDown will be headlined by a WrestleMania 38 contract signing that will go down for the Winner Takes All match between new WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. All hell could break loose in the presence of the two top champions who had the beef ongoing since last summer.

A second segment has been announced for WWE SmackDown where WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn will celebrate his big title win. Last Friday’s go-home Elimination Chamber episode saw Zayn capturing the IC title for the third time in his career by defeating Shinsuke Nakamura. Rick Boogs was absent from the show after getting electrocuted, the week before.
As Zayn will throw a celebration on WWE Smackdown, there’s been a teasing that a new challenger may step up to him on The Road to WrestleMania 38. With that, comes the chance of seeing the Jackass Forever Star Johnny Knoxville back on WWE TV. Reports have recently claimed that Zayn vs. Knoxville could be planned for Wrestlemania 38, given their recent feud.

An Elimination Chamber rematch has also been announced between Drew McIntyre and Madcap Moss. Last Saturday’s PLE in Saudi Arabia saw McIntyre defeat Moss in a No Disqualification Falls Count Anywhere match despite interferences by Happy Corbin. During the rematch on WWE Smackdown, the earlier put stipulation will not apply.
At this point, Ronda Rousey is not enlisted to be on WWE SmackDown, but she is being advertised by the arena and the WWE Events website. Appearances from Shinsuke Nakamura, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos, Sasha Banks, Kofi Kingston, Big E, and more are expected the Road to Wrestlemania 38 heats up.
