WWE Summerslam 2022 match card has started shaping up even before Money in the Bank was over, this past weekend. The main event of the late July PLE will have a rematch from Wrestlemania 38 where Roman Reigns will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar. This time, the match will take place in a Last Man Standing capacity.
Another match was then confirmed for Summerslam 2022 after Money in the Bank went off the air. WWE officially announced that Pat McAfee will face Happy Corbin in a singles contest.

This comes after what transpired in the dark segment following Money in the Bank. Corbin arrived at ringside once the tapings were over and attacked Pat and then celebrated with Mr. Money In The Bank Theory. After the attack, Corbin also accepted McAfee’s SummerSlam challenge that was issued a couple of weeks ago.
Pat McAfee and Happy Corbin started the feud a couple of weeks ago. Corbin wasn’t happy about how McAfee called him “Bum A** Corbin” and McAfee continued to taunt him following the complaint. Then McAfee proceeded to challenge Corbin to a match at SummerSlam 2022 which was accepted after McAfee was planted on the floor with an End of Days.

Summerslam 2022 will feature The Miz against a celebrity star
A third match is likely to be confirmed for Summerslam 2022 on this week’s Raw when The Miz appears to address Logan Paul and his return, targeting him. During his official WWE signing, this past Wednesday, the celebrity star noted how he’s looking forward to seeking revenge against The Miz. He also wrote, “Coming 4 U @TheMiz” on the back of his new WWE contract.
Last week on Raw, during an interview segment, The Miz revealed that Paul had begun training for a return to the ring at SummerSlam 2022. He initially hoped that Paul would be his tag team partner at the upcoming event but going by the storyline it would be The Miz going up against Logan Paul. WWE has also confirmed that The A-Lister will respond to Paul, tonight.
Summerslam 2022 takes place on Saturday, July 30 at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. The current match card for the event stands as follows,
