Lana was literally tortured by Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax before she was pulled from the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title match at the PPV event. This was a sudden outburst for Jax as she was defeated in a singles contest by Lana that appeared to be the toughest challenge for her.
It seemed a sudden change of plans around WWE TLC 2020 and it could point out to Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax holding onto their tag team titles, for even longer. During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that it doesn’t appear the current title-holders will drop those belts, this Sunday. But they are likely facing a big challenge, moving on.

Meltzer noted that another team is apparently being “groomed” to face the champions following WWE TLC 2020. The Riott Squad – Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan are still trying to leave a mark on SmackDown and make their way up the women’s tag team rankings. The recent ongoing push could lead them to face the monster team of Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax, in the near future.

Lana suddenly getting pulled out of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title match was a confusing situation. Then Mandy Rose suddenly returned to even the odds for her tag team partner Dana Brooke. Asuka and Rose forced the champions to retaliate as it seems that these two could end up teaming at WWE TLC 2020.
