The coronavirus pandemic has finally forced the WWE to ‘pull the plug’ on the biggest event of the year, Wrestlemania which is now canceled from Tampa, Florida.
Alongside this change, WWE has also pulled off the upcoming live events that were considered as a Heatwave tour for the ‘show of shows’. This included a stop at the world’s most famous arena that is Madison Square Garden which has now been canceled.

It is now confirmed that the Coronavirus outbreak recently led to WWE postponing their return to Madison Square Garden in New York City. The live event was originally scheduled for Sunday, March 22 at 3 pm ET for only the superstars exclusive to the Monday Night Raw brand.

But this won’t be happening as gatherings are prohibited across the United States and there’s no point to shot live events without an audience.
PWInsider.com provided a follow-up stating that as of two weeks ago, WWE had locked on Saturday, June 27th for a return to Madison Square Garden. The date was ‘put on hold’ before the COVID-19 outbreak, but this could end up being the replacement date that is announced for current ticket holders. Those who already have seats booked for the March 22 event could attend the next show at the beginning of summer.

At this point, the WWE schedule remains ‘up in the air’ for the most part as there’s no surety on when things would go back to normal and the company could start hosting usual shows with filled-up venues.
