WWE Raw Preview (09/12/19)-Divorce Segment, Mysterio Vs. Styles, TLC Go_Home Show
WWE TLC is on the horizon that is only six nights away starting from tonight. Surprisingly, not even one match has been announced from the flagship show of WWE Raw to date.
So the expectation is there will be a plethora of matches to be confirmed on the show as it is coming with a blockbuster main event match where a championship will be on the line.
AJ Styles will face Rey Mysterio for the US title in a rematch from two weeks ago in the headliner. It’s almost evident that there could be chaos throughput the match to hype up TLC. In a rare segment, Rusev and Lana will be going through a divorce in front of the live audience.
Also, a historic women’s division match could be confirmed for the PPV event when WWE Raw airs from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.
Two weeks ago, Rey Mysterio defeated AJ Styles to win the United States Championship in a match that had shenanigans all over it. Randy Orton helped Rey to win his second US title by delivering an RKO on Styles.
This started another rivalry that has plenty of fallouts to lead up to. With that being said, WWE.com hinted that Mysterio vs. Styles on WWE Raw could see the Viper lurking in, once again, (courtesy WWE.com)
“His victory is obviously not a foregone conclusion. Mysterio has been on something of a tear since his son Dominik convinced him not to retire a few months ago; the odd loss aside, he’s been a near-constant source of dominance ever since.
And, of course, there’s always the threat of Orton still lurking on the periphery — though given that The O.C. has never had a problem interfering on Styles’ behalf, we can probably place things on something of an even keel in the outside interference department.
In that case, Monday’s stage is set as simply as possible: Mysterio vs. Styles. May the best man win.”

The stage is almost set at this point to have a clash between Styles and Orton at the WWE TLC PPV. The final confirmation should be received during tonight’s WWE Raw where Orton could interfere in the title match or appear to neutralize the distractions by the OCs from outside. The match is thus expected to be either disqualified or Mysterio retaining with assistance by Orton.
Another big news heading into WWE Raw is going to be a live divorce segment featuring Rusev and Lana. The latter one has filed to get separation from her husband a few weeks ago as we will now be looking forward to witnessing an eventful happening on the show, (courtesy WWE.com)
“It’s finally happening, people. After weeks of psychological warfare, marital strife, extraneous make-out sessions, restraining orders and arrests, Rusev and Lana will finally divorce on this week’s Raw.
On paper (so to speak), this should be a net positive for both: Now, Lana is free to cavort with Bobby Lashley as much as she likes, while Rusev can start his own life anew free from his less-than-blessed union.
Theoretically, this could all go down smoothly and without incident. But nothing has been quite so simple with these two for a time now. Strap in and get ready.”

Going by the history of WWE Raw, it is almost certain that utter chaos will be ensued during this kayfabe divorce segment. It will basically serve as a setup to announce the much-anticipated Lashley vs. Rusev singles encounter at WWE TLC. It will be interesting to see which stipulation WWE adds to the match.
WWE has kept the audience in confusion around the heel-turn of Seth Rollins. And they might continue to do so even tonight. But the bottom line is that they are setting up a matchup between Rollins and Kevin Owens at WWE TLC.
After digesting a couple of beatdowns at the hands of AOP, Owens must be furious and looking forward to seeking retribution on them and reveal the secret association between Rollins and AOP.
For weeks now, Charlotte Flair has been victimized by the Women’s Tag Team Champions Asuka and Kairi Sane. She desperately needs a backup who is missing WWE Raw for a couple of weeks.
None other than Becky Lynch is the missing person here who should make the return on tonight to confirm the historic women’s tag team TLC match on this Sunday as they challenge for the titles.
