WWE News: Daniel Bryan To Become A Backstage Producer In WWE
Daniel Bryan is one of the wisest wrestling superstars in the current WWE locker room, if not the wisest. He is a mine of knowledge when it comes to wrestling as this has been a passion for him since childhood.
With his short height and physique, he was able to conquer the main event of Wrestlemania which is a dream to any superstar. Plus, there’s no denying that WWE considers him to be an asset in the company.
With his growing age and the career-threatening injury that Daniel Bryan suffered, he is not likely to continue his wrestling stint for a long time. He openly admitted to continuing his career for 2 or 3 years from now and then hang up his wrestling boots for good. But WWE will surely not detach him from them as they already considered the future role reserved for him.
As reported by Slice Wrestling, WWE is considering Daniel Bryan for a backstage producer’s role. Almost all the officials would agree with the veteran quality he brings along with him.
So going forward, the company would like to use his knowledge as an asset. He could spread it among all the upcoming young talents as well as producing matches in the future,
“Daniel Bryan’s new role would be producing matches and helping talent with developing in-ring skills. Daniel Bryan has made it known he will officially retire in the next 2-3 years and WWE is already grooming him for the backstage producer role. Daniel Bryan would be a tremendous producer for up and coming WWE superstars and his in-ring psychology is a valuable skill not all wrestlers possess.”
For now, Daniel Bryan has left the heel persona he possesses back in 2018. The YES movement is probably coming back as indicated during a segment he shared with the Intercontinental Champion, Shinsuke Nakamura.
WWE audience loved him to see in this avatar which was the reason why he won the main event of Wrestlemania 30. Could he do this, once again before retirement? We have to wait and see as this depends on WWE’s creative team.
