Last week, Renee Young appeared in a video on the social media hyping up the debut of WWE Backstage on FS1. It is a talk show that will bring us some big news around the WWE Universe. She noted that WWE had a big special guest lined up for the show who will also be bringing some big news,

“And for our very first guest: huge news! It’s going to be announced on Friday Night SmackDown. It’s a very big deal, I promise you don’t want to miss it. See you guys on Tuesday!”

Will Renee Young leave WWE?

The name of the guest was about to be announced on Smackdown this past week which never happened, in reality. According to the reports from Wrestling Observer Radio, the special guest would have been ‘either or both of Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman.’

The big news must have been to let know that he is quitting Smackdown and heading to Monday Night RAW. But due to the travel delays in Saudi Arabia, Brock Lesnar appeared on Smackdown and gave away the news on the show, itself.

Huge Survivor Series match announced

“The Lesnar and Heyman thing where Lesnar goes to RAW, that was scheduled, but it was scheduled to be done on Tuesday to kick off the new Backstage weekly show at 11 o’clock,” Dave Meltzer stated on the show.

Later, we have received confirmation from the Veteran Memorial Coliseum in New York that the beast would indeed be in attendance on Monday Night Raw. It was also a hint that Brock Lesnar is moving back on Raw after a slight shift on SmackDown during the WWE debut on FOX for October.

Brock Lesnar defended the WWE Championship successfully at the Crown Jewel PPV against Cain Velasquez via the Kimura Lock submission move. But his night did not end well as Rey Mysterio delivered some chair shots on his back.

This made the champion irate who was ready to teach Mysterio a lesson. Since Vince McMahon could not feed Rey to him due to the brand separation issue, Lesnar himself quit SmackDown and showed up on last night’s Raw, instead.
