Indian Origin Satnam Singh Hoping To Get To Title Picture In AEW

Indian wrestler Satnam Singh has just made his in-ring debut via this week’s AEW Rampage episode. There have been some worries regarding his in-ring works but he’s not that much affected by it. He hopes to continue with the learning process and also has the belief that down the road, it will lead him to the championship picture.

Satnam Singh keeps his confidence, high just like a vertical reach. Around this week on AEW Rampage the former 2015 NBA draft pick did a special “Ask Me Anything” with Bleacher Report where he answered several questions regarding his wrestling career including how he first got involved with the pro-wrestling bug.

“In 2017, when I was playing in the D League still, WWE reached out and made me come to the Performance Center,” Satnam Singh revealed. “I tried it out and trained with them, but I wasn’t ready to make that move yet, because I was still into basketball. 2017 was when I initially was exposed to it.”

It should be noted that the gigantic superstar had his time spent at the WWE Performance Center in the past and those training sessions may have really paid off. He didn’t want to go through WWE’s procedures before appearing on their TV shows as he opted to go for an AEW deal. He doesn’t worry about his in-ring performance as it’s about the learning process. Besides, he’s hoping to go for a championship hunt, soon.

“I don’t think anything is really hard,” Satnam Singh mentioned. “I’m just learning by seeing things and I don’t really have trouble with specific moves.”
“I don’t know just yet, but I pray a title gets to me soon.”

As noted, the Indian-origin superstar made his in-ring debut as he teamed up with Jay Lethal on last night’s Rampage in one of four matches on the card. Satnam Singh with Lethal and Sonjay Dutt by his side has set their sights on the ROH Television Champion Samoa Joe at this juncture moment.

Satnam Singh made his first appearance on AEW TV following Joe’s championship win against Minoru Suzuki on an April episode of AEW Dynamite. AEW President Tony Khan responded to criticism around his debut where the hype featured a lights-out segment.
