Seth Rollins has not been able to exactly ‘burn it down’ as reflected by the reactions of the fans on the past few episodes of WWE Raw. Despite being the prime babyface character on the flagship show of the WWE, there’re major concerns of his status as the fans are showering him with boos. Merchandise selling around him has been a record low which is not good considering he is the face of the company. This might be an indication that he is soon dropping the title which eventually could lead to a heel-turn.

Former WWE Women’s Champion To Return To Smackdown From Injury?
Slice Wrestling has come up with an update around Seth Rollins indicating what could be next for him. As per the source, ‘WWE is having difficulty figuring out what booking decisions to make next for The King Slayer.’ He will be going into a WWE Universal Championship program with Drew McIntyre in the coming months. WWE will see how the fan reactions remain for Rollins that will determine the conclusion of the feud.

It will also eventually decide whether Seth Rollins will still be the reigning Universal Champion by the end of 2019. If all the plans fail then there won’t be any option left for the officials but to consider a “Heel Turn” for him that will take him into playing the role of a “Bad Guy.” However, the efforts will be there to make Seth Rollins as a crown favorite before that happens as they want him to be the face of Raw now that Roman Reigns won’t be on the show.

The horrendous Hell In A Cell match versus The Fiend Bray Wyatt also damaged the status of Seth Rollins as a babyface character. The fans insanely booed him throughout the gibberish finish. WWE creative tried to escape the disaster but they failed to convince Vince McMahon, (courtesy Slice Wrestling)
“Vince McMahon designed the finish of the Fiend vs Rollins match and when backstage WWE directors/officials found out they tried to tell Vince McMahon that it was not a good idea to book The Fiend match to end in this fashion especially in a Hell In A Cell match.
Paul Heyman who is a big supporter of The Fiend character also tried to “speak up” and convince McMahon that this would be a huge mistake and it was. The Hell In A Cell card was finalized late Saturday/Early Sunday. Which left many wrestlers and producers without enough time to properly prepare for the show.”
We’ll see how things go forward for Seth Rollins who is having a hard time to go over with the fans. His next title defense happens at Crown Jewel in a rematch against The Fiend.
