That will certainly occur a roster shake-up in due course. The most interesting part is that NXT will be involved in the Draft process, this year which will give WWE officials a lot of options to nurture with. That was not the case last time around as Vince McMahon and Co. was only focused on the main roster.

It’s been noted Karrion Kross and Bronson Reed were brought in for SmackDown to wrestle in dark matches in front of the officials. There is certainly interest in calling Kross to either Raw or SmackDown as they are planning to have him back for SmackDown dark matches on more occasions.
Now, PW Insider confirms that WWE is looking toward NXT this time around for the next Draft. That could definitely open up a lot more possibilities for the officials than just passing around superstars from Raw to SmackDown and vice versa. They have also recently called up Piper Niven, from NXT UK and there’re rumors which claim former NXT UK Champ Kay Lee Ray to enter the fray, too.
“One of the reason the talents were brought in (and others could be brought in over the next few weeks) is that WWE has a Draft scheduled for September and is looking at different talents they can pull up from NXT to accentuate the main roster as they prepare to shake things up heading into the Fall.”
Ringside News previously reported that Vince McMahon is looking for more characters and that’s how he wants fresh names to get involved in a kayfabe altercation with other characters. Hopefully, the WWE Chairman will get a lot more to choose from, later this year.
