Becky Lynch has been one of the top attractions of WWE television for the past several years. She’s one of those superstars who helped demolish the distinctions between male and female superstars. After all, WWE built the first all-women Wrestlemania main event around her and she also eventually won it to become the only dual Women’s Champion in WWE history.
Over the years, Becky Lynch has also been part of numerous historic moments in the WWE that established her fame in the mainstream world. This is the reason why she hopes to become a movie star in the future when her professional wrestling career with the WWE will be over. During her ongoing hiatus, too, she is prepping for a TV role.

Wrestling INC reported that Becky Lynch is crossing over to the universe of Young Rock, the hit TV show revolving around the life of pro-wrestler turned Hollywood megastar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The former WWE Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion will be portraying pop icon Cyndi Lauper in the season three premiere episode of Young Rock.

Becky Lynch to appear on Young Rock season 3 show
In the episode, a young Dewey will attend the premiere party for Cyndi Lauper’s “The Goonies ‘R’ Good Enough” music video, which also featured various old-school WWF Superstars, including Captain Lou Albano, Wendi Richter, The Iron Sheik, Hulk Hogan, Mr. T, Freddie Blassie, and Roddy Piper. Former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon hosted the premiere party.
The episode synopsis reads, “After losing the election, Dwayne Johnson is ready to withdraw from politics. In 1985, Rocky Johnson learns there’s consequences to crossing Vince McMahon.”
Portrayed by Becky Lynch, Lauper was a celebrity guest at WrestleMania 1 where she accompanied Richter to the ring for her WWF Women’s Title match against Leilani Kai.
The MAN has been out of action in the WWE since this year’s Summerslam due to a separated shoulder that she picked up during her WWE Raw Women’s Championship match against Bianca Belair at the biggest PLE of the summer that took place on Saturday, July 30.
Two nights later, during the August 1 episode of Monday Night Raw, Becky Lynch turned babyface and got attacked by DAMAGE CTRL. Afterward, WWE issued a press release to confirm that the top WWE Superstar was indeed injured and “expected to be out for several months.”
