The Rock was absent from WWE Survivor Series 2021
Reports are circulating that this segment from WWE Survivor Series 2021 was done to plant seeds for a future match between The Great One and The Tribal Chief. As of this moment, it’s not clear whether The Rock is free to work WrestleMania 38 but some reports already scrapped the appearance in Dallas given his busy schedule. WWE might hold this match in 2023 at WrestleMania 39 since the show will emanate from Hollywood.
Fans would love to see The Rock back on WWE television again. For the entire WWE Survivor Series 2021 event, he was trending on social media as WWE Universe expected to witness his monumental return. However, he wasn’t on TV and a report from Fightful Select confirmed that he has not been seen backstage at the Barclays Center,
“We have not heard mention of the Rock being backstage at the show.”
