Shakib Al Hasan (Bangladesh) – 86.57

Though Bangladesh didn’t advance for the semi-final of the 2019 ODI World Cup, as they finished in the eighth position, the all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan impressed everyone with his remarkable consistency as a batsman. The left-handed batsman finished that tournament as the third most run-scorer as he scored 606 runs in eight innings with an outstanding average of 86.57, including two centuries and five half-centuries.
In that tournament, Shakib played the knocks of 75 (against South Africa), 64 (against New Zealand), 121 (against England), 124* (against West Indies), 41 (against Australia), 51 (against Afghanistan), 66 (against India) and 64 runs (against Pakistan) respectively. It was the first time when a Bangladesh batsman reached the 400-mark in a CWC edition.
