Bobby Lashley has not been seen on WWE programming for the past several weeks as it looks like the company sent him to an overseas tour with a big purpose. While the company did not make an announcement around it, we got to know the news via WWE’s social media account.
The former Intercontinental Champion was seen on a recent episode of WWE’s The Bump on YouTube to announce that he was in South Africa to promote WWE’s global expansion.

This was due to an association with WWE’s earlier plan through which the company will be holding it’s first-ever talent tryouts in Johannesburg by the end of April.
Bobby Lashley commented saying this is going to be pretty impactful not only for the business but to the wrestlers who aspired to make it big. The best they can get in the facility provided by the WWE. Thus, it is going to be a lifetime opportunity to grow as performers,
“I like what WWE is doing. I just spoke to some guys here at the local radio station, and they’re stoked about this first-ever tryout that will be taking place here. It’s cool to see how global WWE has been. When I got off the plane here, I was greeted by fans, and it was awesome. I think it’s going to be a good time and something big for everyone down here in South Africa,” Bobby Lashley said.

Moving forward, the Dominator had to comment about the on-and-off storyline that has taken place between him and Rusev.
It has never culminated in a proper way despite this one being the most talked angle in the fall of 2019. Bobby Lashley is hopeful that at some point they’ll be able to end things properly,
“Well, I mean, most of the card is put together. But, there are still a lot of things that I still want to do,” Lashley stated. “I got put in a role with Lana for some time now. I don’t know what’s going to go on with Rusev and I. I don’t know if that’s done if it’s finished if it’s not finished. Man, there are many things that I want to do. There are so many people that I want to be in the ring with, that in the next few weeks, you’ll start to see a little bit of the old Bobby. You might see something big at WrestleMania, like a big matchup.”

So until the rivalry comes to an end, Bobby Lashley is focused on trying to do something bigger and better so that the WrestleMania 36 has him on the card.
This is why he mentioned to the old Bobby phrase so to mention how much he loves to fight like a wrestler. After all, he serves in a military and had an MMA background, too. This might be the reason that Bobby is now put into a match at ‘Mania against Aleister Black in a match which promises to be a physical one.
