About John Cena, Angle had to feud with him. The first feud took place in 2003 which was won by Angle. The second feud, however, was won by John Cena and it took place in 2005 and it was for the WWE Championship. The feud was pretty long we got some of the amazing matches between the two from this feud.
John Cena is still considered as one of the biggest opponents of Angle’s professional wrestling career. People do not remember much about his feud with Shane McMahon and it is not much remembered by WWE either but indeed it was one of the classics.
The Olympic gold medallist on a recent episode of the Kurt Angle Show expressed his desire to have is the retirement match with either Shane McMahon or the former 16 times WWE world champion John Cena. Here is what he had to say;
“Shane would have been a great retirement match. But I don’t know if I want to go through a match like that. An ‘Anything Goes Street Fight’ with Shane McMahon when I’m 50 years old? I don’t know how my body would hold out with that thing.”
“I thought Cena made sense because I started his career and I thought Cena could end mine. so, it made better sense, but I would have done Shane McMahon. I just don’t know if I would have been up for [the physicality].”
