IND vs AFG 33rd T20I ICC T20 World Cup 2021 Match Preview:

The 33rd match, Group 2 of the  ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, 2021, will be played between India and Afghanistan at the venue of Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.

The Men in Blue will not remember this tournament for a long time, as they are on the verge of getting knocked out from the Super 12 stage itself. The inaugural T20 World Cup champions didn’t bat as per expectations against the top quality bowling attacks of Pakistan and New Zealand, which handed them two massive defeats. They must win their remaining 3 matches to give themselves an outside chance of qualifying into the knockouts.

Afghanistan has already sent a strong message to the big guns, that they can beat any beat side on their day. They have got world-class bowlers in the likes of Rashid Khan, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Naveen-ul-Haq. They fought extremely hard against Pakistan, but the penultimate over of the match proved costly for them. With 2 wins and one loss, they are in the second spot in the Group 2 standings with 4 points.

Hazratullah Zazai might be a key player for Afghanistan at the top of the order. the left-handed opener has smashed 56 off 35 balls against West Indies in the warm-up fixture. Earlier this year, he played five games in the PSL and got 212 runs at a strike rate of 185.96.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz is a destructive batter and could be the game-changer for Afghanistan batting in the top order. He got some quick start in the warm-up games and looked in good touch. He has scored 114 runs in three T20Is in 2021.

Mohammad Nabi will be a good option for fantasy team captain. the spinning all-rounder performed well in the warm-up games as he returned 4 wickets with the best figure of 3/2 with the bat, he scored 40 runs and is still unbeaten in the tournament.

Rashid Khan will be a top captaincy option in this match. Afghanistan spinner has been in splendid form and picked 18 wickets at an economy rate of 6.69 in the IPL 2021. In three T20Is he’s played this year, he has taken 6 wickets.

SCO

George Munsey has been getting solid starts at the top of the order. The left-hander has mustered 64 runs at a strike rate of 123.07 in this tournament. A big score could well be around the corner for his and he can be backed as vice-captain.

Richie Berrington will be one of the top picks. he has been batting really well and is the leading run-scorer for Scotland in this competition. he has scored 103 runs at a strike rate of 137.33. He can also roll his arm over if required.

Josh Davey has bowled beautifully in this tournament. The Scotland pacer has picked 8 wickets at an average of 8.37 and at an economy rate of 5.82.

Matt Cross seems to be batting well. he has chipped in with 82 runs in three games so far and he has the ability to get substantial scores. he is also good from behind the wickets.

A relatively high-scoring game beckons in Dubai, with the batters expected to enjoy the conditions on offer. Wickets in hand will be key with teams likely to go big in the backend of the innings. Both teams will look to chase upon winning the toss, with dew expected to come into play in the second half of the match.

Najibullah Zadran managed to score only 6 runs in the last warm-up match against South Africa. He has mustered 1060 runs in his T20I career at an average of 33.12 with a strike rate of 142.28.

Mohammad Nabi gave his everything in the last match against South Africa. Initially, he picked up a wicket, and later on, scored an unbeaten 34* runs from 29 balls, which included 3 sixes.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman was the pick of the bowler for Afghanistan in the last warm-up game against South Africa. He returned with the figures of 3 for 24. He is a good pick for your fantasy teams.

WI

Universe Boss Chris Gayle took his time in the warm-up match against Pakistan, where he scored 20 runs from 30 balls. He is a dangerous batter and it is hard to stop him if he is in full flow.

Dwayne Bravo didn’t feature in the last match against Pakistan. With his variations, he will be a handful, especially at the death. More importantly, he can score runs whichever order he might be playing.

Hayden Walsh is consistently picking wickets for West Indies. Despite going for runs in the last game against Pakistan, he removed Babar Azam and Mohammad Hafeez in consecutive deliveries.

The T20 format is well made for Nicholas Pooran. He didn’t enjoy his stint for Punjab Kings in the IPL, but is still a great T20 cricketer and a must-pick player for your fantasy teams.

AFG vs SA Dream11 Prediction, Fantasy Cricket Tips, Dream11 Team, Playing XI, Pitch Report and Injury Update- ICC T20 World Cup Warm-up Matches, 2021

AFG vs SA Dream11 Prediction, Fantasy Cricket Tips, Playing XI, Pitch Report, and Injury Update of 9th match between Afghanistan and South Africa of  ICC T20 World Cup Warm-up Matches.

AFG vs SA 9th ICC T20 World Cup Warm-up Match Preview:

In the 9th warm-up match of the  ICC T20 World Cup Warm-up Matches, 2021, Afghanistan will lock horns with South Africa at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium Nursery 2, Abu Dhabi on Monday.

Afghanistan have been a revelation in the T20 format over the years. However, they have altered their captains way too many times. This time around, Mohammad Nabi, who only takes part in limited-overs cricket, will be leading the team in the World Cup.

Hamid Hassan, who retired from ODI cricket after the 2019 World Cup, has been included in the squad. Mohammad Shahzad, who has been at the forefront of a number of controversies, has made his way into the team as well.

South Africa, led by Temba Bavuma, on the other hand, had a reasonable time of late. They defeated Ireland in the three-match T20I series and then went on to beat West Indies 3-2 in the five-match T20I series. Quinton de Kock became the leading run-scorer of the series.

The focus will also be on left-arm wrist spinner Tabraiz Shamsi, who is currently ICC’s No.1 ranked bowler in T20Is. The tweaker was the Player of the Series in the Caribbean series. Skipper Bavuma is also recovering from a thumb injury that he suffered during the Sri Lanka T20Is.
