Ireland vs Zimbabwe Dream11 Prediction, Fantasy Cricket Tips, Dream11 Team, Playing XI, Pitch Report, and Injury Update of 3rd ODI match.

IRE vs ZIM 3rd ODI Match Preview:

Zimbabwe will face Ireland in the 3rd ODI match of the three-match ODI series at Civil Service Cricket Club, Belfast.

Ireland’s top six chipped in with handy contributions as they posted 282 for 8 in the second ODI in Belfast before rain forced an abandonment. Soon after the Ireland innings rain came down and even after two inspections, the officials deemed the field was not fit for play. Ireland lost the opening ODI and will now look to bounce back in the final of the three-match series and pick up crucial ODI Super League points.

Put in to bat, William Porterfield (67 off 100) and Paul Stirling (31 off 71) gave the team a steady but cautious start. Their opening stand lasted 22.3 overs and fetched the team 82. Sean Williams dismissed Stirling first but Andrew Balbirnie (40) injected some momentum into the innings and scored 69 for the second wicket with Porterfield.

Richard Ngarava, who bagged three wickets, dented the hosts with the wicket of the Ireland captain, who was followed by Porterfield nine balls later in the 37th over. Harry Tector (55 off 42), George Dockrell (28 off 19) and Lorcan Tucker (32 off 20) were key architects of the late push Ireland managed. They scored 100 in the final ten overs and 57 in the last five to present Zimbabwe with a stiff challenge.

Ngarava, however, helped Zimbabwe do a bit of damage control with wickets of Porterfield, Balbirnie and Tector. Ireland were 267 for 4 in the 49th over but soon slipped to 277 for 8 and couldn’t quite inflict more damage in the final eight deliveries. Three wickets fell in the final over – two courtesy run outs – before Craig Young finished the innings with a last ball boundary.

Ireland vs Zimbabwe Dream11 Prediction, Fantasy Cricket Tips, Dream11 Team, Playing XI, Pitch Report, and Injury Update of 2nd ODI match.

IRE vs ZIM 2nd ODI Match Preview:

Zimbabwe will face Ireland in the 2nd ODI match of the three-match ODI series at Civil Service Cricket Club, Belfast.

Sikandar Raza’s late blitz and a clinical bowling performance helped Zimbabwe bag their second win in the ICC ODI Super League. Set 267, Ireland were kept to 228 as the visitors picked up a 1-0 lead in the three-match series with a 38-run victory.

Ireland, however, will look back at the contest as a missed opportunity as they went from being 163 for 2 in the 35th over to 218 for 8 by the 47th. William Porterfield (75) and Paul Stirling (32) started with a half-century stand but two quick wickets of Stirling and Andrew Balbirnie helped Zimbabwe stage a comeback in the game. Harry Tector stroked a brisk half-century, and made 71 with Porterfield, to set up the chase.

However, Luke Jongwe dismissed Porterfield to start Zimbabwe’s slide. George Dockrell (11), Simi Singh (3), Lorcan Tucker (14) and Andy McBrine (2) couldn’t quite cope up with the pressure of the asking rate and fell in quick succession to hurt Ireland’s chances.

Earlier, handy contributions from Craig Ervine, Brendan Taylor, and Raza lifted Zimbabwe to a challenging total despite the spinners giving away just 48 from their 20 overs. The Zimbabwe openers made a nervy start as Regis Chakabva was dropped on the second delivery. On the next ball, Ireland challenged an lbw appeal against Taylor but the batsman was saved courtesy umpire’s call. Chakabva fell for 2 but Taylor and Ervine made 71 for the second wicket to get the innings going.

Simi dismissed Taylor for 49 before Dion Myers huffed and puffed his way to seven of 22. Myers fell to McBrine as Zimbabwe slipped to 101 for 3 in 20 overs. Sean Williams and Ervine steadied the innings but there was another wobble as the visitors again lost the position of strength with two quick wickets.

Wesley Madhevere and Raza collaborated to score 44 for the sixth wicket in the 33 deliveries they faced but Madhevere was dismissed for 19. Raza’s assault meant Zimbabwe were able to score 54 runs in the last five overs, with 24 scored in the last two, to ensure the bowlers had a competitive total to work with.

IRE vs ZIM Dream11 Prediction, Fantasy Cricket Tips, Dream11 Team, Playing XI, Pitch Report and Injury Update- Zimbabwe Tour of Ireland 2021

Ireland vs Zimbabwe Dream11 Prediction, Fantasy Cricket Tips, Dream11 Team, Playing XI, Pitch Report, and Injury Update of 5th T20I match.

IRE vs ZIM 5th T20I Match Preview:

Zimbabwe will face Ireland in the last T20I match of the five-match T20I series at Bready Cricket Club, Bready, Northern Ireland.

With the series in the bag already at 3-1, Ireland would aim to extend their winning streak against Zimbabwe in the final T20I of the five-match series before they head to UAE for the 2021 World Cup.

Hosts Ireland turned it around spectacularly after losing four games on the trot – three in the preceding series to South Africa and the opener of this to their visitors when they failed to overhaul a modest 117 in Dublin. It was their batting letting them down time and again, and also earning the team a bad reputation of being nervy chasers.

But with World Cup on the horizon, the batting department turned the tide quickly as Ireland leveled the series by chasing down 152 comfortably with an over-and-a-half and seven wickets to spare, before posting two formidable totals in excess of 170 in the next two games to clinch the series.

At the heart of this turnaround was Paul Stirling, continuing his spectacular form The Hundred final to notch up a scintillating unbeaten 115 off just 75 balls in game 3. Contributions from the rest have come steadily since, while the bowling has been on point, causing panic and collapses in the Zimbabwean line-up, aided with the cushion of stronger totals.

Much like Ireland prior to this, Zimbabwe too, have been let down by their batting since the series opener where they dramatically defended a low score for an early lead. The batsmen have been guilty of not applying themselves enough and falling to poor, unwarranted strokes in the face of scoreboard pressure. That pressure has, in part, been induced by a listless bowling show allowing the Irish to get away and leave them with little chance at the halfway stage.

IRE vs ZIM 5th T20I Match Pitch Report:

The wicket has favored batting at this venue if Ireland’s strong show in the last two games is any evidence. The hosts have liked batting first, and could likely stick to their preferences especially with a slight chance of some rain later in the evening. The weather otherwise is likely to be in the 18-19 degree range with clouds having around for most of the day.

IRE vs ZIM 5th T20I Match Probable Playing XIs:

Ireland: Paul Stirling, Kevin O Brien, Andrew Balbirnie (c), Shane Getkate, George Dockrell, William McClintock, Neil Rock(wk), Simi Singh, Mark Adair, Barry McCarthy, Joshua Little

Ireland vs Zimbabwe Dream11 Prediction, Fantasy Cricket Tips, Dream11 Team, Playing XI, Pitch Report, and Injury Update of 4th T20I match.

IRE vs ZIM 4th T20I Match Preview:

Zimbabwe will face Ireland in the 4th T20I  of the five-match T20I series at Bready Cricket Club, Bready, Northern Ireland.

Ireland has managed to take a 2-1 lead in the T20 series against Zimbabwe and could win the series with a win in this match. Zimbabwe will be disappointed at its performance in the previous match. It was completely outclassed by Ireland and that is not something that it will be happy about.

Paul Stirling is considered to be the best batsman ever produced by Ireland and he showed just why once more in the previous match. He hit his maiden T20 international century and helped his team to a massive win. 115 not out with 8 sixes in the inning is worth remembering and we have no doubt it will give him a lot of confidence.

Ireland will be hoping for a similarly decisive contribution from one of Stirling, Balbirnie, or O’Brien in the upcoming matches as well. Ireland’s batting is a bit frail after the top-3 and players like Shane Getake, George Dockrell, and William McClintock are still relatively untested at the international level.

It was great to see Mark Adair and Joshua Little in the team for Ireland once more. These two have helped elevate the level of the Ireland bowling attack significantly and with Simi Singh finding a consistent place in the side, Ireland’s bowling is much better than it used to be.

Zimbabwe was blown away in the previous match by Paul Stirling. The bowlers just did not have any answers. Without Blessing Muzarabani, the Zimbabwe bowling does not have the edge it needs to make early inroads. It is almost waiting for mistakes rather than forcing anything to happen. Ryan Burl has been the best bowler for Zimbabwe in this series and that is not a very good thing to be honest.

There were a few changes made to the batting order in the previous match but the pressure of a stiff target was always going to tea its toll. Wesley Madhevere is someone capable of scoring quickly at the top of the order but he has failed to give Zimbabwe the kind of starts needed. Craig Ervine was the only batsman that seemed to find the middle of the bat and looked in some kind of form. He may be a good option for the Top Batsman in this next match.

Ryan Burl is also someone who has got a start in most matches and is in decent form.

Overall, though, Zimbabwe’s team lacks depth in every facet of the game.

IRE vs ZIM Dream11 Prediction, Fantasy Cricket Tips, Playing XI, Pitch Report and Injury Update- Zimbabwe Tour of Ireland 2021

Ireland vs Zimbabwe Dream11 Prediction, Fantasy Cricket Tips, Playing XI, Pitch Report, and Injury Update of 2nd T20I match.

IRE vs ZIM 2nd T20I Match Preview:

Ireland will host Zimbabwe in the 5-match T20I series which starts from 27th August.

Zimbabwe will face Ireland in the 2nd T20I  of the five-match T20I series at Clontarf Cricket Club Ground, Dublin.

Going by the evidence of the last few T20Is, chasing has not been Ireland’s forte. Their bowlers came up with decent performances in a couple of games against South Africa and were on the money in the first T20I against Zimbabwe.

But Ireland’s batting has let them down time and again, especially in chases, and they have little to show in terms of preparations for the T20 World Cup which is scheduled in a couple of months. The remaining four T20Is are Ireland’s last assignments before their first-round game on October 18 against the Netherlands in the T20 World Cup, and they’ll be hoping to make the most of it and bank on their batting to find its groove.

Restricted to 114 in a chase of 118 isn’t the ideal preparation for a big event but it might have served as a wake-up call for the batsmen. Paul Stirling’s tally of 262, with two half-centuries, is the highest in the team since January 2020 and no other batsman has an individual fifty during this period. Having suffered four successive losses in T20Is, all while chasing, Ireland will be seeking quick remedies and not leave it too late.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe, despite their excellent fightback with the ball in the first T20I, have a few batting issues to sort out. Regis Chakabva, with a 28-ball 47, played a lone hand while the rest of the batsmen faltered. Craig Ervine got off to a promising start but failed to convert it, and if not for some lower-order support, Zimbabwe would have finished with even lesser.

Their bowling, on the other hand, was highly impressive as Ryan Burl bagged three wickets at an economy of 5.5, while Luke Jongwe, Wellington Masakadza, and Richard Ngarava conceded 4.5 or less for their combined five wickets. Ngarava bowled an excellent final over under pressure, defending five by bagging a wicket and keeping the fighting Simi Singh quiet. Against a wobbly Ireland batting, Zimbabwe will be aiming for a similar effort to strengthen their lead in the series.

Ireland vs Zimbabwe Dream11 Prediction, Fantasy Cricket Tips, Playing XI, Pitch Report, and Injury Update of 1st T20I match.

IRE vs ZIM 1st T20I Match Preview:

Ireland will host Zimbabwe in the 5-match T20I series which starts from 27th August.

Zimbabwe will face Ireland in the 1st T20I  of the five-match T20I series at Clontarf Cricket Club Ground, Dublin.

Ireland isn’t, and thus, are in desperate search of momentum, something they just couldn’t find in their previous series against South Africa, getting whitewashed 3-0. While their bowlers were impressive, with Mark Adair, in particular, standing out, their batting card was a sorry story. Either way, they are still some distance away from replicating their ODI form into T20s.

Zimbabwe, in fact, over the last few months, in whatever little cricket they’ve had against Pakistan and Bangladesh, have punched above their weight across formats. If only there was the experience of closing out the crunch moments somewhere in their side, the final scorelines could have been very different.

IRE

Harry Tector is a much-improved cricketer, had played the South African bowlers well in the ODIs though he was short of runs in the shortest format of the game. We can expect him to do well in this series.

Sean Williams is likely to take a break from International cricket after Ireland and Scotland tours. The 34-year-old all-rounder has scored 945 runs and picked up 32 wickets in his 47 T20I matches.

Blessing Muzarabani is a much-improved bowler coming into this series. His experience in the Pakistan Super League, that too for the title-winning side, will definitely give him a lot of confidence. He has been known to be the bowler who takes the big scalps and for Bangladesh, he will be one of the biggest threats. He picked up 21 wickets in his career.

IRE vs SA Dream11 Prediction, Fantasy Cricket Tips, Playing XI, Pitch Report and Injury Update- South Africa Tour of Ireland 2021

Ireland vs South Africa Dream11 Prediction, Fantasy Cricket Tips, Playing XI, Pitch Report, and Injury Update of 3rd T20I match.

IRE vs SA 3rd T20I Match Preview:

On the 24th of July, Ireland will face South Africa for the 3rd T20I Match at Civil Services Cricket Club, Belfast.

South Africa have won successive T20I series, and the second in seven rubbers in the format under Mark Boucher, with a game to spare and under severe pressure. South Africa recovered from 58 for 5 at the halfway stage of their innings to post a more-than-respectable 159, thanks to David Miller and Wiaan Mulder.
Miller’s spectacular 44-ball 75 was largely responsible for South Africa scoring 101 runs off the last 10 overs and 68 in the last five to ruin an Irish display that started off miserly.
Tabraiz Shamsi finished with 3 for 14 to pull six clear on the leading wicket-takers list in 2021. His three-wicket haul guided the Proteas to a 42-run victory and also gave the visitors an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.

Ireland will be disappointed with their batting effort, though. No Irish batter made more than 24 and no partnership was worth more than 31.
