WWE RAW 20.09.2021 Results & Ratings

This week RAW started as footage from last week was shown where Big E cashed in his Money in the Bank contract after Bobby Lashley defeated Randy Orton to retain his Championship. The footage showed how Big E pinned Bobby Lashley and won the WWE Championship.

The show started as the New Day came out to the arena. The new WWE champion Big E was also there. Big E thanks everyone for the support. He even thanked Brodie Lee without saying his name.

WWE RAW 20.09.2021 Results & Ratings

Match 1 – The Bloodline defeated The New Day

The match was really good and it was really a very good way to kick things off for the night. But there is one confusion, since when six man Tag Team matches started to be by default no disqualification matches? Bobby Lashley interfere during the match and beat down almost everyone. Eat distracted Xavier Woods who was speared and pinned by Roman Reigns.

After the match Bobby Lashley attacked everyone again. He even beat down Roman Reigns, and then he speared Big E through the barricade. He then went on to meet Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville to remind them that the almighty era is not finished yet.

Match 2 – Doudrop defeated Eva Marie

It was another easy victory for Doudrop. And this match completely buried Eva Marie. Since the start of the match is she kept on running away from Doudrop, and when finally Doudrop got her hands on Eva she completely destroyed her. She pinnedher with a Running Body Splash.

Match 3 – Randy Orton defeated AJ Styles

It is quite clear that WWE will not push AJ Styles anymore. He will remain a lower mid card or a mod card at maximum. This match was quite good but we are not sure if anybody expected AJ to win.

Match 4 – Shayna Baszler defeated Nia Jax

RAW
RAW. Image Credits: Twitter

The match was short but quite disturbing. It was disturbing because of Nia’s good acting. Firstly, it was an easy win for Shayna, she quickly won the match by submission. After the match, she attacked Nia and injured her hand. Nia was screaming and crying in pain which was quite disturbing to be honest.

Match 5 – Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo defeated Mustafa Ali and Mansoor

This was an easy victory for Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo. The team was a little bit built up WWE main event show. Now it’s finally made its debut on the main roster. Maybe WWE are planning a little push for the duo.

Match 6 – Rhea Ripley and Nikki ASH defeated Natalya and Tamina to become new WWE Women’s Champion

Finally this terrible title reign of Natalya and Tamina came to an end. Their tag team title reign had to be the worst in WWE history. However the victory could have been booked a little better. Nikki pinned Natalya with a Rollup.

Alexa Bliss welcomed Charlotte Flair in her Playground which was set inside the ring this time. The promo was quite important because Alexa teased a possible return of her old self, the Harley Quinn gimmick that made her famous. She cut her promo in her previous style.

Match 7 – Jeff Hardy defeated Sheamus

RAW
RAW. Image Credits: Twitter

Good to see Jeff is coming out of his terrible jobber status. It was booked as if Jeff could win the United States title match would be a triple threat which would include Jeff. Jeff pinned Sheamus with a roll up and on Sunday, Damian Priest would defend his title against both Sheamus and Jeff Hardy.

Match 8 – Roman defeated Bobby Lashley and Big E in a triple threat

It was a very good match, really enjoyable. All three athletes were excellent. But as everybody expected, Roman Reigns came out victorious, he cannot lose, he is the new god of WWE. Roman pinned Lashley with a spear. Roman Reigns celebrated with the title as this week’s RAW went off air.

Overall, it was a very good show. The first and the last match were really good, they were ppv standard matches. But it is quite clear that WWE is feeling threatened by AEW, else they would never give such big matches on free TV. We give this week’s show 3.5 out of 5.

Why RAW Was Disappointing This Week

A lot of things happened in this week’s RAW. We got two Championship matches, we got a Money in the Bank cash in, we also got a new WWE champion. The Almighty Era has finally ended this week on Monday Night RAW. It sounds really good on paper, right?

But the episode of this week’s Monday Night show of WWE was really disappointing. It was not a disaster by any means, but it was extremely disappointing without any doubt. If it was properly booked, it could have been a historic episode. But ultimately bad bookings came out as the barrier once again and it prevented WWE from presenting a good episode.

Why RAW Was Disappointing This Week 1

First we need to talk about the major match of the week. We got two WWE Championship matches in one single show. The first won between Bobby Lashley and Randy Orton was really very good. The second one in which Big E cashed in his Money in the Bank contract was short but fun too.

But where did it all go wrong? The way the cash in was booked was quite disappointing and actually it was lazy. The booking team did not put any effort into it. A proper booking could have made this a historic cash in and something that everyone would remember forever.

RAW
RAW. Image Credits: Twitter

Big E should have never appeared earlier on the night, WWE should have kept the cash in a secret which would have been a huge surprise. Big E was a smackdown star who continuously teased of cashing in his contract on Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship. If the cash in on RAW was kept a secret it could have been a huge surprise, and would make it a historic week so that everyone would remember it.

But that did not happen. Instead we got a lazy piece of booking where Big E announced that he would catch in his contract at the start of the show. Everyone knew that he would be coming to cash in his contract at the end of the night. The booking was purely disappointing and it will fade away in our memories very soon.

RAW
RAW. Image Credits: Twitter

And to stretched the injuries of the show, where was the botchmania from Nikki ASH vs. Tamina match. This match is perhaps the biggest botch of the year so far. Nikki attempted pin Tamina with a Top Rope DDT, Tamina kicked out but the referee counted three. Tamina was a little late to kick out. Nikki won but the announcer of the match announced the winner of the match was Tamina.

Everyone in the arena, the fans, commentators even the wrestlers were puzzled. What just happened? Tamina and Nikki even started fighting after the match not knowing the fact if the match was actually called off. Natalya and Rhea Ripley tried to manage the situation by attacking them.

This week’s RAW started as Mr. Money in the Bank came out to the arena. Randy Orton was scheduled to compete for the WWE Championship tonight. RK-Bro also came out followed by Bobby Lashley and MVP who also came out to the arena and entered the ring.

They kept talking about their WWE Championship match later tonight and Big E reminded that he was holding the Money in the Bank briefcase so he had his visions set on cashing in his contract tonight. Both Orton and Lashley said that was not going to happen.

WWE RAW 13.09.2021 Results & Ratings

MVP said Big E was too scared of Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar so that he left SmackDown and came to RAW. Lashley added he was not scared of anyone. The segment ended as Randy Orton nailed Bobby Lashley with an RKO.

Match 1 – Charlotte Flair defeated Shayna Baszler

This was a good match. It went on for over eight minutes and both athletes were quite good in this competition. At the end, Nia Jax cost a distraction for Shayna and Charlotte Flair capitalised with a Big Boot to pin her.

After the match, Alexa Bliss came out to the arena. She offered a present to Charlotte. Charlotte opened a present and it was a doll identically dressed to her. Alexa said everybody deserved a friend. Charlotte argued with her threw the doll to her. Alexa attacked Charlotte and beat her down.

Match 2 – The Viking Raiders and Drew McIntyre defeated Jinder Mahal, Veer and Shanky

RAW
RAW. Image Credits: Twitter

This six man tag team match was short and it was an easy victory for the babyface side. Drew pinned Shanky with the Claymore. Shanky had no such part in this match apart from taking the pin.

Match 3 – WWE United States Champion Damian Priest defeated Jeff Hardy to retain

Jeff Hardy might have lost the match but it was not a jobber type booking for him. This was actually quite a good match where he was equally treated. The match went on for nearly nine minutes and Priest pinned him with a Swinging Face First. After the match, Sheamus attacked Priest but Priest fought back.

Match 4 – Nikki ASH defeated Tamina

RAW
RAW. Image Credits: Twitter

The match was booked for 5 minutes and the ending of the match is perhaps the biggest botch of the year so far.

Match 5 – Rhea Ripley defeated Natalya by Submission

The match was booked for nearly 10 minute and somehow it saved the botches made in the previous match. There was nothing special to be book for 10 minutes as he was quite a slow match. At the end, Rhea made Natalya submit with the Inverted Vertical Leg Lock.

Match 6 – Mace, T Bar, AJ Styles and Omos defeated Mustafa Ali, Mansoor and The New Day

AJ Styles worked for the most part of the match and it was booked in the customer is style of any match in which Omos is booked. He entered the ring at last and destroyed everyone. He pinned Mustafa Ali with a Two Handed Chokeslam.

Match 7 – Doudrop defeated Eva Marie

The match was short and mostly dominated by Doudrop. And honestly, Eva Marie was really bad in the ring. Don’t know how she made it to WWE. Doudrop pinned Eva Marie with a Running Cross Body.

Match 8 – WWE Champion Bobby Lashley defeated Randy Orton to retain

RAW
RAW. Image Credits: Twitter

The match was quite good and it was booked for over 10 minutes. Orton was portrayed as a body opponent who could snatch the title any time. But Lashley pinned him with a sudden Spear.

Match 9 – Big E defeated WWE Champion Bobby Lashley to become new champion

Big E cashed in his Money in the Bank after the match. The two minute match was really fun and the best part of the night for sure. E pinned Lashley with a Big Ending. The new WWE Champion Big E celebrated with his friends Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods as this week’s RAW went off air.

This week’s RAW could have been a historic week but ultimately it turned out to be a really average week because of bad booking and botches. Big E cashing in contract was an amazing thing for sure, but it should have been kept a surprise. E should not have appeared earlier in the night. It killed the surprise completely and made it really predictable. And who can forget the botches of Nikki ASH vs. Tamina match? We give it 2.5 stars out of 5.

He even won the WWE NXT Championship two times in total. She had an undefeated streak for quite a while before finally losing the title at NXT Takeover 36 to Samoa Joe.

After losing the NXT Championship to the Samoan Submission Machine Samoa Joe he permanently left NXT for Monday Night RAW. The beginning of his main roster journey did not go very well as he lost two matches in his first three against Jeff Hardy and Keith Lee. But after that is going quite strong and literally squashing his opponents.

Karrion Kross who is also a former WWE NXT Champion recently cut a promo after this week’s RAW went off the air. Here is what he had to say;

Karrion Kross

“I am done answering questions for the day,” Kross declared. “Luckily for you I do have something to say and I want you to listen. John Morrison, earlier tonight, told me I needed to tell the WWE Universe who I was, and what I’m here to do. Can you believe that? These people know who I am, people at home know who I am.

“The problem, Kevin, is sometimes… sometimes I don’t know who I am anymore. But I do know this, I enjoy hurting people and I’m real good at it. So, maybe if I just keep hurting people I’ll find the answers that I’m looking for. Tick, tock…”

WWE champion Bobby Lashley along with MVP came out to the arena next. MVP Seth what happened last week was an accident, and what Orton did last week was cowardly act. Lashley challenged Orton in a one on one match. Orton Seth he was ready to accept the challenge but it one condition, if Bobby put the title on the line. MVP said that the match would be official at Extreme Rules.

Match 1 – Tag Team Turmoil Round 1 – The New Day defeated The Viking Raiders

Really good match to start the competition. Xavier Woods pinned Eric with a roll up.

Round 2 – The New Day defeated Jinder Mahal and Veer

This was not a very difficult win for the former champions. Xavier Woods pinned Jinder Mahal to eliminate them.

Round 3 – The New Day defeated Lucha House Party

Good performance from the Lucha House Party. Once again Xavier Woods took the pinfall to earn the win for his side.

Round 4 – The New Day defeated Mace and T Bar

This was more of a technical tag team match. In this round, Woods again took the pin. After thr end of the fall, Mace and T Bar beat down the New Day brutally.

RAW

Mansoor did not like the fact Mace and T Bar beating down New Day as he tried to attack them and got beaten down himself. Mustafa Ali tried to help his partner but got beaten too. Mace and T Bar left after a total carnage.

Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce had to come out to stop them. The match had to be postponed for the later on the night.

Match 5 – Sheamus defeated Drew McIntyre to become the no. 1 contender for the WWE United States Championship

This was arguably the best match of the night. It was really enjoyable. The two athletes kept fighting each other for fifteen minutes. This maybe the beginning of a new rivalry as well.

Match 6 – Rhea Ripley and Nikki ASH defeated Natalya and Tamina

RAW
RAW. Image Credits: Twitter

The women’s tag team championships are the worst managed title by WWE right now. Being the champions Natalya and Tamina cannot win any match. Still, they are not defending their titles in any occasions. Rhea Ripley pinned Natalya with Riptide to earn the victory for her side.

Match 7 – Karrion Kross defeated John Morrison by submission

We do not understand what is going on with the Miz – Morrison angle. It has been three weeks and it has not been mentioned yet. Instead Morrison jobbing every week. Things look really clueless here.

Match 8 – WWE RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair defeated Nia Jax to retain

The match was okay. But it looks like the team between Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler is over and Shayna betrayed Nia and cost the title. After the match, Charlotte had a segment with Alexa Bliss where challenged for the title and Charlotte accepted.

Match 9 – Reggie defeated Akira Tozawa

The 24/7 title segment was going well when Reggie won it but after they started airing pre taped promos it was going really bad. But this week, finally there was a match. It was an easy win for Reggie. After the match, the undercards tried to attack him but Reggie escaped.  It felt really bad to see Jeff Hardy among them. Reggie should drop the title now since it is the 24/7 title.

Match 10 – The Tag Team Turmoil Continued

Round 5 – The New Day defeated Mustafa Ali and Mansoor

For five straight rounds, Xavier Woods took the pinfall. He pinned Mustafa Ali with the Super Elbow Drop

Round 6 – AJ Styles and Omos defeated The New Day

Technically it was a rematch from WrestleMania 37 and the winners also remained the same. AJ Styles pinned Kofi Kingston with the Styles Clash.

Match 7 – Bobby Lashley and MVP defeated AJ Styles and Omos

The last match of the night was more fun because it was a very unlikely heel vs. heel match. Lashley pinned Styles with a Spear. After the match, Omos knocked out Lashley with a Two Handed Chokeslam. Orton then hit RKO on Lashley. RK-Bro celebrated as the show went off the air.

Overall, it was a little different week of RAW then the usual ones. Recently the Tag Team titles are getting quite a bit privilege which is good to see. The book half of the show for the Tag Team titles this week. But some of the Other statements were really bad. Even though it seemed like something was happening this week. We give it 3 stars out of 5.

WWE RAW 30.08.2021 Results & Ratings

This week’s Monday Night RAW started as WWE United States champion Damian Priest came out to the arena. He welcomed everyone on Monday Night RAW and talked about his pride in holding the WWE United States Championship. He said that he wanted to carry The Legacy of Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy, and John Cena who held this title before. He issued an open challenge.

The former champion Sheamus came out. He said that it was quite nice of him to issue the open challenge because he was going to accept it and take his title back. Drew McIntyre also came out. He said that this match was seen by the WWE universe for so many times before. They deserve something new, so we would like to challenge him for the title because he could not win the United States Championship ever before.

WWE champion Bobby Lashley came out to the arena. MVP said that Lashley has beaten almost everyone in the roster of Monday Night RAW. So it would be time for him to hold two Championship at a time so he would like to challenge Damian Priest for the WWE United States Championship.

Randy Orton and Matt Riddle came out next. Orton address of Bobby Lashley as son of a ***** and also said he did not deserve to hold both titles at once. It should be him who deserved to do it.

Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville came out and announced a triple threat match for the WWE United States Championship including the champion Damian Priest, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus. They also announced a tag team match between the Tag Team champions RK-Bro and Bobby Lashley & MVP.

Match 1 – Rhea Ripley defeated Shayna Baszler

The match was really good. It was quite competitive as both women were given great opportunities. But at the end Rhea Ripley managed to steal a rollup victory. After the match, Nia Jax attacked Rhea and Nikki ASH who was outside of the ring and beat them down both.

Match 2 – The Viking Raiders defeated Jinder Mahal and Veer

The match was mostly dominated by the Viking Raiders and they picked up the victory as well. Eric pinned Jinder to earn the victory for his side. It looks like WWE is trying to build the Viking Raiders as it from Tag Team force.

Match 3 – WWE United States champion Damian Priest defeated Drew McIntyre and Sheamus in a triple threat match to retain

It was an amazing match. Probably the best match of the night. The match was booked for over 15 minutes. And all three competitors really did very well. The match was mainly built to push Priest who pinned Drew McIntyre with the swinging face first to pick up the victory. But honestly we believe Drew should have been protected and Priest should have pinned Sheamus.

RAW
RAW. Image Credits: Twitter

A match was scheduled between Eva Marie and Doudrop but it could not officially start since Doudrop attacked Eva before the match ever started and beat Eva down. The referee had to call off the match.

Match 4 – Karrion Kross defeated Humberto Carrillo by submission.

The match cannot be called a square but it was mostly dominated by Karrion Kross. It would be interesting to see where Karrion Kross goes from here.

Match 5 – Nia Jax defeated Charlotte Flair

This was a huge shock. After beating almost everyone she could, she lost to Nia Jax who had not been doing very well recently. And the more shocking part was, it was a clean victory.

Match 6 – Omos defeated John Morrison

As everybody expected it was a squash. Morrison was completely manhandled by Omos in this match. Omos pinned Morrison with a two handed Chokeslam to earn the victory for himself.

Match 7 – AJ Styles defeated Xavier Woods by submission

RAW
RAW. Image Credits: Twitter

A very rare victory for AJ Styles since the former three times WWE world champion does not win very much these days. But this was a submission victory so maybe WWE would decide to push him again. Styles made Woods submit with Calf Crusher.

Match 8 – WWE Raw Tag Team champions RK-Bro defeated MVP and Bobby Lashley to retain

We expected to see Goldberg making a surprise interference during this match but that did not happen. The match was quite good, however, the interferences were made by the former champions AJ Styles and Omos who were driven out by the champions. Riddle pinned MVP with the Floating Bro to earn the victory for his side. RK-Bro celebrated as this week Monday night RAW went off air.

This week Raw was a little weak compared to the recent episodes but it was not bad at all. There were some bad decisions throughout the episode such as Drew McIntyre not being protected, Charlotte losing clean to Nia, and Jinder jobbing. We give it 2.5 stars out of 5.

WWE RAW 23.08.21 Results & Ratings

Damian Priest interfered them and expressed frustration for calling everyone coward. He challenged Bobby Lashley in a match and said if he did not accept the challenge he would be the coward. Lashley attacked him Priest fought back.

Match 1 – Damian Priest defeated Bobby Lashley by DQ

The match did not continue for long as Sheamus interrupted and attacked Damian. Both Sheamus and Bobby Lashley started beating down Damian as Drew McIntyre came into his aid.

Match 2 – Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre defeated Sheamus and Bobby Lashley

This was a very good tag team action and it was quite enjoyable. The babyface side dominated most part of the match. As Sheamus was going to tag in Bobby Lashley, the WWE champion betrayed his partner and left. Drew mcintyre then pinned Sheamus with the Claymore.

Match 3 – Karrion Kross defeated Ricochet by submission

This was a squash from Karrion Kross. It was an absolutely terrible decision to treat such a talented wrestler like Ricochet as a jobber. Imagine what this guy can do if he goes to AEW.

Next up was the Moist TV of John Morrison being the host and Logan Paul was the guest. Arguably Logan Paul received the most heat from the WWE fans in the recent years. We cannot remember anyone had been booed so much as Logan Paul got here. The Miz and John Morrison tried their best to save Logan but it did not work. Why did WWE bring Logan Paul game was even beyond our imaginations.

Match 4 – Xavier Woods defeated the Miz

This was quite of a fun match. Both wrestlers were good in this match. Miz almost pinned Woods with a rollup but Morrison unintentionally distracted the referee and Miz could not pin Woods and pinned Miz with a Small package hold.

RAW
RAW. Image Credits: Twitter

After the match, Miz attacked Morrison and beat him down. Another tag team is over. It was a terrible decision. There are already in shortage of good tag teams and now they are breaking whatever they have.

Match 5 – Mansoor defeated Jinder Mahal by DQ

The match was short and Jinder had no intentions of winning this match. He just wanted to take out his frustration and that was what he did as beat down Mansoor and the referee disqualified him.

The new and the twelve times WWE RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair came out to the arena. She cut a really long promo where she only bragged about herself and her achievements. Nothing much important here. But the only important part of this segment was Alexa Bliss interfering at the end to make it clear that she is next to challenge for the title.

Match 6 – Nikki ASH & Rhea Ripley defeated Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax

The match was okay. Right now it would be a good idea to team up Nikki ASH & Rhea Ripley. They could be a good tag team champion. Rhea Ripley pinned Shayna to pick up the victory for her side.

RAW
RAW. Image Credits: Twitter

Match 7 – Riddle defeated AJ Styles

The match started before a Championship celebration of Riddle and Randy Orton. AJ Styles came out and Challenged Riddle to a match and here we go. This was the main event of the night and it was a very good match. But AJ should stop jobbing week in and week out now. Riddle pinned AJ clean. RK-Bro celebrated as this week’s RAW went off air.

Overall it was a good week of Monday night RAW. The biggest talking point of the match was Miz betraying John Morrison. Matches were good as well but AJ Styles should stop now. It is really difficult to see wrestler of his calibre jobbing week in and week out. The segment with Logan Paul was terrible as well. We give it 3 stars out of 5.

What To Expect From The Current Roster Of RAW?

With most of the big talents of WWE heading to Smackdown the roster of RAW looks quite empty. All the biggest names of WWE are looking to be setting their destination towards the blue side of WWE, the red side looks to be looking pretty lame.

We have discussed about the possibilities of WWE sending most of their big names onto Smackdown in a different story. You can check the whole story and analysis here.

RAW
RAW. Image Credits: Twitter

What To Expect From The Current Roster Of RAW?

The current RAW roster looks quite fragile compared to Smackdown right now as mentioned above. Wrestlers like Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Edge, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Bianca Belair and many other big names are in Smackdown right now while the red side of WWE only has Bobby Lashey, Goldberg and Drew McIntyre as main event stars.

The scenario of the Monday night show may look a little weak compared to the Friday night show. But is it all bad? Of course big names are always a big attraction for any show but not enough big names can also be quite profitable by a lot of ways.

RAW
RAW. Image Credits: Twitter

Firstly, we need to look at the rest of the roster of RAW whom we are not considering as main event stars. The first name that comes into the mind is AJ Styles who is a former three times WWE Champion and was the face of Smackdown at a point.

But since joining the red brand he has always been treated as either a mid card or a jobber. For the last one year he had been portrayed as a terrible jobber. A talent like AJ Styles is not being used at all. Imagine what a rival promotion could do with him if they get their hands on The Phenomenal One.

RAW
RAW. Image Credits: Twitter

With the current situation of RAW roster, AJ Styles can finally be utilized properly because there are not enough options in their hand. What would they do with Bobby Lashley after Goldberg’s contract finishes?

They also have a big option underutilized that is Randy Orton but Orton is the Tag Team Champion right now so might not be feuding on a main event status. But there are other options as well like Sheamus, Keith Lee or Ricochet. This is perfect time to cash in these talents. So the red side of WWE should see this situation as an opportunity and not a disadvantage.

WWE RAW 16.08.2021 Results & Ratings

This week RAW started as footage of Randy Orton and Matt Riddle incident was shown from last week. After that Randy Orton came out to the arena. He said that people had been asking him for last week why did he hit Riddle with the RKO last week. He said that he never wanted anyone’s help, he loved to walk on his own.

Orton said that last week he taught AJ Styles a lesson, and this week we would do the same to Omos. Riddle interrupted and came out to the arena. He said that Austin did not have to explain why he hit him with the RKO last week, it was because he was teaching him how to hit the move properly. He requested Orton to bring RK-Bro once again.

WWE RAW 16.08.2021 Results & Ratings

Before anyone could say anything more, AJ Styles and Omos interfered. AJ said that nobody cared why Orton hit Riddle with the RKO. But Riddle was going really annoying day by day. So he would teach him a lesson, AJ challenged him in a match one on one, Riddle accepted and here we go.

Match 1 – AJ Styles defeated Matt Riddle

This was a very good match to kick things off for the night. The match was booked for around eight minutes and it was a much needed victory for AJ. Riddle was expecting Orton to be in his corner but the Viper did not. AJ pinned Riddle with the Styles Clash.

Match 2 – Rhea Ripley defeated Nikki ASH

It was a non title match and a warm up before SummerSlam. The match was good and it was quite fun to watch. It was mostly dominated by Rhea and he pinned Nikki with a Riptide. It was a clean victory. After the match, Nikki attacked Charlotte Flair who was on the commentary table and as Nikki and Charlotte teamed up to beat her down.

Match 3 – Drew McIntyre defeated Veer & Shanky in a 2 on 1 handicap match

RAW
RAW. Image Credits: Twitter

The match was good, it was more of an easy victory for Drew. Good to see the Indian boys are improving week after week. Drew pinned Shanky with the Claymore to earn the victory.

Next up is the debut of the Moist TV hosted by John Morrison aka Johnny Drip Drip. His special guest was The Miz. After he joined the frame, Morrison asked him if he was faking an injury. Damian Priest interfered and he made fun of Miz for faking the injury. Morrison started to doubt Miz too and told Miz to face Priest in a match one on one

Match 4 – Damian Priest defeated The Miz

It was more of a comedy match. Miz’s performance was excellent. Morrison left Miz during the match and Priest pinned Miz with a Bicycle kick.

Match 5 – Mansoor defeated Mace

Short match but a good continuation of the storyline between the two tag teams. With an outside help from Mustafa Ali, Mansoor was able to pin Mace with a roll up.

Match 6 – Randy Orton defeated Omos by DQ

RAW
RAW. Image Credits: Twitter

The match was being completely dominated by Omos. But because of an unnecessary attack from AJ Styles led Omos to get disqualified. After the match, the tag team champions started beating down Orton as Riddle came out and saved the day.

As AJ Styles and Omos were leaving, Orton announced RK-Bro was back and Riddle challenged AJ and Omos for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship at Summerslam.

Match 7 – Karrion Kross defeated Jeff Hardy by Technical Submission

The victory for Kross looked more easy this week as he dominated Jeff and defeated him very early and the match did not go on for long.

Match 8 – Nia Jax and Charlotte Flair defeated Rhea Ripley and Nikki ASH

RAW
RAW. Image Credits: Twitter

This match was completely unnecessary to book. Rhea and Nikki already fought in a very good match earlier on the night, then why booking them once again? They just have to portray Charlotte Flair as the strongest force in the entire universe, that was the reason this match was booked.

Goldberg came out to the arena. He said that he came out of retirement because of his son so that he could get to know who his father was. Bobby Lashley came out. He said that at SummerSlam he would end his career and he would get the privilege of telling his family that his career was finished by the Almighty Bobby Lashley. As he attempted to attack Goldberg, Goldberg dodged and nailed Lashley with a Spear. Goldberg celebrated with his son as this week’s RAW went off the air.

Overall it was a good closing show before SummerSlam but ultimately all the ongoing storylines felt a little weak except the Tag Team Championship one. None of the storyline felt like SummerSlam standard. The over pushing of Charlotte Flair continued which feels really unbearable at times. We give it 2.5 stars out of 5.

Karrion Kross On His WWE Debut And Recent Loss To Keith Lee

WWE star Karrion Kross who is the current WWE NXT champion recently talked about his main roster debut, he also talked about his defeat against Keith Lee on the recent episode of Monday Night RAW.

It is pretty much clear that WWE does not want to push Karrion Kross on the main event level as he was pushed on the NXT. So far we had three matches on the main roster, and he lost in two out of those three matches. His recent match against Keith Lee that he lost was actually disgusting for him.

The idea of not pushing him in the main roster is completely okay. But the way he is losing his matches, it has been a terrible look for the NXT championship and the whole NXT show. Kross had been a dominant wrestler in the NXT, he defeated almost everyone in that promotion and he remained undefeated. But after coming to the main event is nothing but a mid card or maybe a lower mid card.

There is only one way to save the reputation of the NXT, Kross has to lose to the former two times NXT champion Samoa Joe at the NXT Takeover 36 event and drop the title. There should be a rematch as well where he has to lose again. And after that he should never return to NXT.

“Out of the ring and back to the drawing board. Didn’t go my way, But that was yesterday. And in this present moment, We can be on course to improving all things if we fully commit to the necessary process. Thank you #Chicago It was good to see, hear and feel you again.
