After last week’s scheduling problem due to Crown Jewel PPV, SmackDown will be airing with the full roster, this week. Tensions are running high around WWE’s weekly programming, considering that Survivor Series buildups are happening in full gear.

Main event revealed for Survivor Series?

A big match featuring AJ Styles to be announced?

So there could be invasions from other brand’s superstars, at any point. The blue brand names should be ready to counter-attack them after NXT dominated them.

Meanwhile, the card seems packed for the show with a big main event match where Roman Reigns faces King Corbin in a singles contest. Tyson Fury’s WWE stint continues as he returns on SmackDown.

The new Universal Champion will make his first TV appearances on the show whereas the tag team championships will also be on the line. All of these and more will be waiting on the show that takes place at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, Great Britain.

Cain Velasquez removed from upcoming WWE SuperShow

The main event of this week’s SmackDown is carried forward from last week. The rivalry between Roman Reigns and King Corbin continues as WWE had confirmed this matchup without any delay. In case you don’t remember, Corbin demanded an apology from Reigns since his cousin The Rock insulted him during the FOX premiere.

Why Brock Lesnar was moved from SmackDown?

The Big Dog obviously did not oblige to that leading to this rivalry. It will be interesting to see which one of them picks up the win in the first matchup between them.

A special attraction for SmackDown will be Tyson Fury’s return to the show after his big win over Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel. It was supposed that the rivalry would be over with this one-off match at the PPV. But if the below updates from WWE.com are any indications then more physical altercations will be waiting between them,

Fury wants Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania

“In the wake of a debut victory at WWE Crown Jewel, Tyson Fury will head to Friday Night SmackDown this week on FOX.

As reported on WWE Backstage, The Gypsy King is slated to appear when the blue brand broadcasts from the lineal heavyweight champion’s hometown of Manchester, England. With Fury in the building, Braun Strowman shouldn’t be far behind as the two brawlers have unfinished business. Are Fury and Strowman headed for another epic collision?”

A tag team championship match will take place on SmackDown as The New Day faces The Revival in a rematch as per WWE.com,

“The New Day will challenge The Revival for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles on Friday Night SmackDown. The showdown of the last two SmackDown Tag Team Champions promises to carry a lot of the bad blood that has defined this blue brand rivalry.

Natalya shares Crown Jewel backstage story

Can The New Day ride the momentum of their pin over The Revival in the Tag Team Turmoil Match at WWE Crown Jewel or will the ensuing attack by the SmackDown Tag Team Champions turn down The Power of Positivity?”

This match has all the chances to witness a championship change considering the outcome could create new a lineup for Survivor Series. The three tag teams from Raw, SmackDown and NXT are currently set to collide in a triple threat. If New Day captures the title then they would replace Revival in this contest.

The Fiend Bray Wyatt has won the Universal Championship at Crown Jewel from Seth Rollins and thereby confirmed that the red-strapped belt will now be staying on SmackDown. Meanwhile, we have not seen or heard from him since then.

So the fans will be waiting to see him as the champion, for the first time with anticipation. Also, we’ll see Sasha Banks coming to action tonight against Nikki Cross. It will be for the first time since Hell in a Cell that she will be seen in action.
