Carmella

Carmella

Leah Van Dale (famous as Carmella) is an American professional wrestler, Hip hop dancer, and model. At present, she is signed up for WWE since June 2013, where she performs on the SmackDown brand under the ring name Carmella. She was assigned to their developmental brand NXT in Orlando, Florida.

In October 2014, she aligned herself with Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady and became their manager. In July 2016, she made her main roster debut on SmackDown. In April 2018, she won the first-ever Women’s Money in the Bank Match (and the second), defeated no less a talent than Charlotte Flair to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship, and won the second-ever WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal.

Being a former Laker girl, the so-called “Princess of Staten Island” - Carmella won both the WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal and then the WWE 24/7 Championship (twice). Known for her creativity, she thrived in everything through her hard work. She exploded in the freewheeling sideshow of the Mixed Match Challenge, where she joined forces with R-Truth to originate an endearing seven-second dance break en route to winning the competition.

From fairing in as a hairdresser or a moonwalkin’ to trash-talkin’ girl from the 718, Carmella proved everyone all wrong, and fabulously so.

Early life

Born on 23 October 1987 in Spencer in Massachusetts, Leah Van Dale is the daughter of Paul Van Dale who is a former mixed martial artist and professional wrestler. Growing up in Spencer, Massachusetts, she graduated from David Prouty High School in 2006.

She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2010. Van Dale was a cheerleader for the New England Patriots for three seasons, ending in 2010. She successfully auditioned for the Los Angeles Lakers dance team, appearing as a Laker Girl during the 2010-2011 season.

Personal life

Van Dale is a certified fitness instructor and a personal trainer and has cited Miss Elizabeth as her idol since childhood. She came into a relationship with fellow wrestler William Morrissey, famous as Big Cass. In 2019, Carmella entered a relationship with fellow WWE employee Matthew Polinsky, better known as Corey Graves.

Professional Wrestling Career

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)

NXT (2013–2016)

Van Dale applied to be a part of WWE Tough Enough in 2010 but after being accepted as a Laker Girl she moved to Los Angeles, withdrawing from the selection process. Three years later, in June 2013, she signed a contract with WWE where she was assigned to the company's developmental territory NXT in late September.

Later, she adopted the ring name Carmella debuting on the 4 September 2014 episode of NXT and portrayed as a hairdresser in a segment with Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady.

Two weeks later on NXT, Carmella appeared in another segment with Amore and Cassady at the WWE Performance Center. There she announced about losing her job as a hairdresser because of the actions of Amore and Cassady, asking for a job at NXT. She made her in-ring debut on the October 16 episode of NXT, wrestling an unnamed opponent whom Amore and Cassady dubbed Blue Pants.

Carmella defeated Blue Pants on two occasions, but later on the 1st January 2015 episode of NXT, Carmella lost to her after Amore accidentally caused a distraction. In March, Amore and Cassady began a rivalry with the NXT Tag Team Champions Blake and Murphy while Carmella rejected Blake and Murphy's advances on several occasions.

On the May 13 episode of NXT, Carmella was defeated by Alexa Bliss after a distraction by Blake and Murphy. On May 20 at NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable, Bliss attacked Carmella during the NXT Tag Team Championship title match, ensuring the win for Blake and Murphy.

While continuing to manage Amore and Cassady, Carmella began feuding with Eva Marie. This led to a match between the two on the August 26 episode of NXT, which Carmella lost. In January 2016, Carmella won a battle royal, becoming the number one contender to Bayley's NXT Women's Championship.

On February 10, Carmella unsuccessfully challenged Bayley for the title. After the match, Eva Marie and Nia Jax attacked the two, which led to a tag team match on the February 24 episode of NXT, which Carmella and Bayley lost.

Carmella made her first appearance on WWE's main roster on March 12 at Roadblock where she accompanied Amore and Cassady for their match against The Revival for the NXT Tag Team Championship.

On the May 25 episode of NXT, she competed in a triple threat match against Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax to determine the number one contender to Asuka's NXT Women's Championship at NXT TakeOver: The End, but she was pinned by Jax.

SmackDown Women's Champion (2016–2018)

She was drafted to the SmackDown brand on July 19 as part of the 2016 WWE draft. However, Carmella made her main roster debut for the brand a week later and confronted the brand female talents before she was interrupted by Eva Marie.

On the August 9 episode of SmackDown Live, Carmella achieved her first victory on the main roster by defeating Natalya. On August 20 at SummerSlam, she participated in a six-woman tag team match, alongside Becky Lynch and Naomi, which was won by their opponents Alexa Bliss, Natalya, and Nikki Bella after Bella pinned Carmella. Two days later on SmackDown Live, Carmella attacked Nikki Bella, turning heel in the process and started a storyline feud between the two.

On September 11 at Backlash, Carmella took part in a six-pack elimination challenge to determine the inaugural SmackDown Women's Champion. She was the last woman eliminated by Becky Lynch.

Meanwhile, Carmella was also part of Team SmackDown in the traditional five-on-five Survivor Series match that took place on November 20 at Survivor Series against Team Raw, where she was the first one to be eliminated by Alicia Fox.

On December 4 at TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs, Carmella lost to Nikki Bella in a no disqualification match to end their feud.
In 2017, Carmella moved into a storyline with James Ellsworth, professing that she found him "uniquely attractive", who then, started accompanying her to her matches.

Carmella made her WrestleMania debut, on 2nd April 2017, competing in a six-pack challenge for the SmackDown Women's Championship, but was unsuccessful. In late April, Carmella formed an alliance with Natalya and Tamina - dubbing The Welcoming Committee, and the three started a feud with Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Naomi.

The two teams faced off in a six-woman tag team match on May 21 at Backlash, where The Welcoming Committee was victorious.

On June 18 at Money in the Bank, Carmella won the inaugural women's Money in the Bank ladder match after Ellsworth obtained the briefcase and dropped it to her. Two days later on SmackDown, Carmella was stripped-off of the briefcase and the second Money in the Bank ladder match was set by SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan.

On June 27, Carmella regained the Money in the Bank briefcase after she won the second match with the help of Ellsworth. In November, Carmella ended her association with Ellsworth after he lost to Becky Lynch in an intergender match. On January 28, 2018, at the Royal Rumble, Carmella participated in the first women's Royal Rumble match.

She entered at number 17 and lasted over 18 minutes before she was eliminated by her former rival, Nikki Bella. She then appeared in the first WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal at WrestleMania 34 but was the first woman eliminated from the match by Sonya Deville.

She held the contract for 287 days, the longest recorded period for a wrestler to hold the contract. After a few unsuccessful attempts to cash in her briefcase on Charlotte Flair, Carmella officially cashed in her contract on the April 10 episode of SmackDown Live. She defeated Flair to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship for the first time in her career after The IIconics (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce) attacked Flair.

In her first title defense, Carmella defeated Charlotte Flair at Backlash. Shortly after, Carmella feuded with Asuka which ultimately led to a title match between the two at Money in the Bank, where Carmella won after a distraction by the returning James Ellsworth.

And then again in a rematch between the two, Carmella defeated Asuka and retained her title (with Ellsworth suspended in a shark cage). After losing to both Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in non–title matches, it was announced that Carmella would face both of them in a triple threat match at SummerSlam on August 19. At the event, Flair pinned Lynch to win the championship, ending Carmella's reign at 131 days. Two weeks later, Carmella received her rematch against Flair but she was unsuccessful in regaining the title.

Alliance with R-Truth (2018–2019)

Around the end of her title reign, R-Truth demanded a “title match by pinning her” and thereafter, Carmella was placed in a storyline with R-Truth. On the September 4 episode of SmackDown Live, Carmella turned face for the first time since 2016, after she agreed to manage Truth for his match with The Miz to avoid Maryse's interference.

Shortly after, Carmella started managing Truth and the two were also announced as tag team partners, calling themselves – “The Fabulous Truth”, for the upcoming season two of Mixed Match Challenge.

Carmella once again took part in Survivor Series as part Team SmackDown in November, eliminating Tamina before she herself was eliminated by Bayley.

Carmella and Truth lost the first three matches of Mixed Match Challenge, but defeated Rusev and Lana and qualified for the playoffs. The two of them went on to defeat Jeff Hardy and Charlotte Flair in the quarter-finals and then, the previous winners The Miz and Asuka in the semi-finals.

In the final of the Mixed Match Challenge at the TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view that took place on December 16, Carmella and Truth defeated Jinder Mahal and Alicia Fox.

This earned them the number 30 spots for their respective Royal Rumble matches at Royal Rumble. At Royal Rumble, she participated in the Royal Rumble match but was eliminated by Charlotte Flair.

In February, Carmella started teaming up with Naomi. The duo participated in a six-team Elimination Chamber match for the inaugural WWE Women's Tag Team Championship at the namesake pay–per–view, where they were the first team eliminated.

At WrestleMania 35 on April 6, Carmella won the WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal, eliminating Sarah Logan in the last. In May, Carmella took part in the Money in the Bank ladder match at the namesake pay–per–view, where she once again displayed a knee injury and was ultimately unsuccessful in winning the match.

The "knee injury" was used to spark a feud between Carmella, and Fire and Desire (Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville). However, it ended soon as Carmella continued to manage R-Truth, who won the WWE 24/7 Championship and she helped him escape and defend it against various competitors.

On the September 23 episode of Raw, Carmella rolled–up Truth to capture the 24/7 Championship from him. Her title reign came to an end 11 days later, during SmackDown's 20th Anniversary on October 4, when she was pinned by Marshmello backstage.

Later that night, Carmella regained the title from Marshmello in a segment that took place in the parking lot. During the Hell in a Cell, Tamina pinned Carmella to end her second reign with the title at only 2 days, but a few minutes later, Carmella helped Truth defeat Tamina to win the 24/7 Championship.

The alliance between Carmella and R-Truth was ended abruptly during the draft when Truth was drafted to the Raw brand and Carmella remained on the SmackDown brand.

Various storylines (2019–present)

On the November 8 episode of SmackDown, Carmella and Dana Brooke defeated Fire and Desire to qualify as part of Team SmackDown at Survivor Series, but they lost to Team NXT at the event. At the Royal Rumble on January 26, 2020, Carmella participated in the Royal Rumble match but was eliminated by Shayna Baszler.

On the April 24 episode of Smackdown, Carmella and Dana Brooke unsuccessfully challenged Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross in a title match for the Women's Tag Team title. On the May 1 episode of SmackDown, Carmella defeated Mandy Rose to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match.

Other Ventures

Carmella made her video game debut as a playable character in WWE 2K17, later appearing in WWE 2K18, WWE 2K19 and WWE 2K20.

Carmella joined Total Divas as a main cast member for the show's seventh season in June 2017. Despite being a guest in the eighth season, Carmella returned to the show as a series regular in the ninth season that was premiered in October 2019. The season featured Carmella's real-life relationship with Corey Graves.

WWE Day 1: Spoiler On The Triple Threat Championship Match

Also on Raw, WWE plugged in the fact that Carmella is the only superstar from the Raw roster who owns a wine line apart from enjoying her wrestling career. Corey graves obviously broke into major praise for her girlfriend. As reported earlier, these two have been engaged to be married earlier this year. So they do not let go of any opportunity to have some PDA sessions.

As noted, Carmella is in the middle of her maiden Women’s Tag Team Title run in the WWE with Queen Zelina. These two won the title from Rhea Riley and Nikki ASH, last month. To date, the new champions are yet to go through a successful title defense. As for Corey Graves, he wants to make a return to the squared circle.

WWE Raw: Three New Champions Crowned On Post-Survivor Series 2021 Edition

WWE Raw presented the post-Survivor Series 2021 edition this week from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. While the fallouts from the bygone PPV marked the highlights of the night, multiple titles were also put on the line on the show. Two of them changed hands in the process as a result three members of the female locker room can now call themselves, champions.

Carmella and Queen Zelina Vega have become new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions on WWE Raw’s November 22 episode. They defeated the former champions Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. to win the straps.

Mella Superkicke-ed Ripley and then again performed the move to send her face-first into the ringpost. The finish saw Vega hitting Nikki with a Code Red for the pin to win, right after Cross was double-teamed as the referee was tending to Ripley who was knocked out of the ring.

This is the first title reign for Carmella and Vega. This also marks the first title reign for Vega in her WWE career. Her status in the company as a singles superstar had already been upped with the Queen’s Crown tournament win back at Crown Jewel PPV in late October. Ripley and Cross held the tag titles for 63 days after winning those from Tamina Snuka and Natalya on the September 20 edition of WWE RAW.

New 24/7 Champion crowned on WWE Raw

Dana Brooke has become the new WWE 24/7 Champion. During the post-Survivor Series edition of WWE RAW, Cedric Alexander captured the 24/7 Title from Reggie in a singles match by getting the pinfall win via the Lumber Check maneuver. After that match, a group of Superstars rushed the ring as the 24/7 Title Rule was reinstated.

Dana Brooke was in that group as she hit Cedric with a top rope neckbreaker for the pin to win the belt. Brooke then stood tall to celebrate her win while the group of male Superstars looked on, as they were doubtful about chasing a female champion who was standing right in front of them.

WWE Raw: Carmella And R-Truth To Have Reunion?

A couple of years ago, WWE presented a popular on-screen couple in the form of Carmella and R-Truth. The two weren’t involved in any romantic angles but they were rather involved in a friendship to elevate the status of the WWE 24/7 championship. Due to WWE’s loose ends around brand separation, back then the two could appear on both WWE Raw and Smackdown.

Over on this year’s Draft 2021, R-Truth was retained by the red brand while for the very first time, Carmella was picked to appear on Monday nights for the first time in her career. That being said, the popular pair might just want to reunite on Raw in the due course. At least, both the superstars are interested in doing so and it’s up to WWE creative team whether it’ll happen or not.

WWE Raw: Carmella And R-Truth To Have Reunion? 21

On a recent episode of The Wrestling Inc. Daily, Wrestling Inc. Managing Editor Nick Hausman sat down with Ron Killings, better known as WWE Superstar R-Truth, to promote his new single “Legacy”. The superstar is currently in pursuit to reclaim his WWE 24/7 Championship who has also become synonymous with this title.

Carmella – R-Truth ready for a reunion

Also, Nick asked him about a potential reunion with Carmella in response to which the veteran had to say the following,

“It’s good. I’m happy for her to get to shine and do her thing. A lot of people don’t get to see her work, but Carmella is very smart. She knows the wrestling business. A lot of stuff we were doing she would throw in her stuff. She would help us put stuff together. So she’s very, very knowledgeable about the business. Ring awareness, entertaining, timing, she’s very good at what she does. She’s on RAW, right? So, you never know what may happen. You may see a reunion.”

Carmella became a valet to R-Truth on WWE TV back in 2018. The duo later became tag team partners in the second season of Mixed Match Challenge who went on to dub themselves as “The Fabulous Truth.” During that timespan, both these superstars became 24/7 Champions.

Carmella and Truth defeated Jinder Mahal and Alicia Fox in the finals to win the Mixed Match Challenge. The two superstars then bagged the No.30 spots in their respective Royal Rumble matches in 2019 as the winning prize. Speaking in an interview, last year, the female superstar with the ‘most beautiful shtick’ also wanted to get paired with Truth as she misses him.

Carmella On Being Drafted To RAW

Former WWE SmackDown star Carmella who is a former one time WWE SmackDown Women’s champion recently gave her personal opinion on being drafted to Monday Night RAW for the first time in her WWE career.

What a lot of fans do not know that Carmella’s father was also a professional wrestler who appeared in WWE during the late 1980s and early 1990s. He mainly worked as a jobber. He also had a short career in the Mixed Martial Art. But he was not very much popular in the world of professional wrestling and not a lot of fans know about him either. He was so unpopular that his ring name in WWE was also very difficult to find.

Carmella On Being Drafted To RAW

Carmella is vastly known as the princess of Staten Island who joined WWE back in 2013 and started working on the NXT brand of the WWE. She worked for three years on the NXT as the partner of Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady who was later renamed as Big Cass.

She was quite impressive in her NXT days. In 2016 she came to the main roster of WWE during the second official brand extension of the promotion. She became a member of Friday Night smackdown roster and she became one of the fresh faces of the blue brand of WWE back in the time.

For last 5 years she had been constantly working as a member of Friday Night Smackdown roster only. This is the first time in her career she got drafted to Monday Night RAW and she would be working on the red brand of WWE. In SmackDown who won the WWE Money in the Bank ladder match. But recently she was being treated as a jobber. Hopefully, she will get more chances on Monday Night RAW. And we seriously hope she get more chances to shine on the red brand of WWE.

Carmella who is a former one time WWE SmackDown Women’s champion recently spoke to After The Bell where she gave her personal opinion on being drafted to Monday Night RAW for the first time in her WWE career. She said;

Carmella

“This is our family. We spend more time on the road than we do at home, so the girls you’re surrounded with in your locker room, they become your family. I’ve been on SmackDown since the inception of the draft back in 2016, so this is all I’ve known. I take pride in knowing SmackDown has always had a very positive locker room and great comradery.

“I take a lot of pride in that because I’ve only ever been on SmackDown. That is my locker room – the girls there, I love. I’m excited for Raw because I do feel like our locker room on Raw is gonna be great too, but I think people forget – Bianca did an interview and said Carmella and I are the glue that has held SmackDown together over the last year. And of course, there’s [the reaction] of, ‘Carmella? What does she do?

“All she does is lose and she sucks and this and that.’ People forget there’s so much more that goes on behind the scenes than what you just see on TV. I take pride in knowing Bianca can go out there and say that about me. That means so much to me. I think just being a part of this environment and locker room has been so special to me.”

Carmella Reacts On The Hate Comments

Former WWE SmackDown Women’s champion Carmella who is also a former two times WWE 24/7 champion recently talked about the hate comments and friends she received recently on her Twitter and Instagram.

Leah Van Dale who is famously known as Carmella in WWE made her way back in 2013 as a member of the NXT roster. First she used to pair up with Enzo Amore and Collin Cassady who later got named as Big Cass. She spent three years on the NXT before making her main roster debut in 2016.

Carmella Reacts On The Hate Comments

She spent a total of 5 years in SmackDown and never got drafted to RAW. At the 2021 WWE draft, she got drafted to Monday Night RAW for the first time in her career. Hopefully she has an excellent future lying ahead of herself in Monday Night RAW. She was not doing very well at SmackDown lately. She was losing almost all of her matches and she was working as one of the prime losers of Smackdown.

But the time has never been so bad for her in SmackDown. There was a time when she was one of the biggest names of the blue brand of WWE. In 2017 WWE arrange the first ever Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match which was won by none other than Carmella and on the very next year she cashed in her contract on Charlotte Flair to win her first and only Smackdown Women’s Championship.

She dropped the title to Charlotte Flair on the same year at SummerSlam. She also won the women’s battle royal on the very next year at Wrestlemania 35. Slowly she lost her push and became a jobber.

“To be completely honest, being on Instagram and Twitter recently has been hard. The hate and the threats are at an all time high, it’s quite disturbing actually. I usually just try to post and leave it alone, but it’s hard to NOT read the negativity sometimes. Y’all can be so cruel. Luckily, I know who I am. I’m not going to let you get to me,” she wrote.

This is what she wrote on her Instagram;

“It’s been a while since I’ve posted a no makeup, non-filtered selfie. Do I love getting dressed up and having my hair and makeup done? Yes! But a majority of my time is spent in sweats with no makeup on my face and my hair in a bun..that’s MY reality most of the time. So I need to do better with being real with you all on here. To be completely honest, being on Instagram and Twitter recently has been hard.

Carmella Says She Tries To Give Her Best In Every Storyline

Former WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Carmella who is currently a member of the Monday Night RAW roster recently said that she tried to give her best on whatever storyline she had been given. She was recently involved in a feud with Liv Morgan which would end after she moved to RAW.

Carmella started her WWE career in 2013 and she has been one of the fewest wrestlers in WWE who did not have a change of brand. From the very first day of the brand split, she is with SmackDown and it has been five years since she is working in the blue side of WWE.

Carmella Says She Tries To Give Her Best In Every Storyline

She made her main roster debut during the second brand split of WWE in 2016 as one of the six women wrestlers of Smackdown. Since then she won WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship and two WWE Money in the Bank. She won the inaugural Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

As the first money in the bank ladder match had some controversies as Carmella’s partner James Ellsworth grabbed the Money in the Bank Briefcase for her, WWE reorganized the match the very next week on SmackDown which was won by Carmella again, and this time she won it by herself.

Carmella

Recently the inaugural Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match winner Carmella spoke to WWE After The Bell with Corey Graves where she said that she tried to give her best on whatever storyline she had been given. She said;

“I try to always take whatever they give me and turn it into something.  I won Money in the Bank through a guy, so that was a big controversy.  Then I’m paired with James Ellsworth for however long and I made that work.

Carmella

“Then I was one of the most hated people in the business when I was champion.  People hated me.  Three weeks later they paired me with R-Truth and I’m one of the most loved people.  To me, I’m like, ok, you want me to do that?  I’ll do that.

“After that you want me to get a new character.  Then you want me to have a sommelier.  You want me to wear a mask.  Whatever it is that I’m given, I take pride in that I’m going to make this work.  There’s no way I’m not going to make it work, that’s what I’ve done my entire career, and I’m very proud of that.”

Former WWE SmackDown star Carmella who is a former one time WWE SmackDown Women’s champion recently talked about her long running feud with Liv Morgan. She had words to praise the former member of the Riott Squad.

Carmella and Liv Morgan is having a feud with each other for over a month. When the fuel started it looked like WWE might be offering something new this time. A non title Women’s feud is very uncommon nowadays in WWE. But the fans finally got one. At first, it looks like that it is going to be a lift for Liv Morgan for her future. Carmella was going through a bad time and losing the feud to live would not have been a huge deal for her.

But the feud at the and turned out to be flat out boring and meaningless. The feud was supposed to lift Liv Morgan, in spite of winning most of the matches in this feud, she got buried at the end. Their match at Extreme Rules looked like a big boost for the women’s division in WWE. The match was good as well, Liv winning the match clean was a great result. And it seemed like WWE is finally giving a lift to the former member of the Riott Squad.

But ultimately that did not happen. Once again terrible booking killed everything. All the momentum she earned through her recent matches was gone when she lost to Carmella in the quarter final of the Queen’s Crown tournament which itself was a big joke.

The former SmackDown Women’s champion winning the match did not give any boost to her future. She ultimately lost in the semifinal. So there was no point of having Liv lost except of burying her. So at the end of the day the feud became totally meaningless.

Carmella who is a former one time WWE SmackDown Women’s champion recently spoke to After The Bell where she talked about her long running feud with Liv Morgan. She had words to praise the former member of the Riott Squad. She said;

“Liv is a firecracker. She is so incredibly talented, and a match that I’m really, really proud of is our match at Extreme Rules. We had some time, and that’s something that has been a root of frustration lately on SmackDown because it’s a two-hour show.

“We don’t get a lot of time to show what we can do. So, we finally had this pay-per-view match and we had I think 10 minutes, and we killed it. We had a great match and she won, and I was so happy for her. I think it’s her time and she’s kind of been deprived this whole time.

“She was thrown into this tag team when she first debuted with girls she didn’t know, and she made that work. She lost her tag team partners and now she’s trying to reinvent herself, and the fans are so behind her. They want this for her so bad. All I want is for her to succeed.”

Carmella is one of the most active superstars on social media who also possesses a huge fan following from the WWE Universe. Every now and then, she mesmerizes her followers with some dazzling pictures to keep up with her shtick on social media as the ‘most beautiful woman in all of the WWE.’ But as they say, there’s always a flip side to the coin.

Being a WWE Superstar, one needs to deal with the hatred received from the negative fans. Superstars like Paige and Charlotte Flair have been dealing with it a lot and also opened up about the same. Now, Carmella has talked about the same and pointed out that this negativity is at an all-time high.

“To be completely honest, being on Instagram and Twitter recently has been hard. The hate and the threats are at an all-time high, it’s quite disturbing actually. I usually just try to post and leave it alone, but it’s hard to NOT read the negativity sometimes. Y’all can be so cruel. Luckily, I know who I am. I’m not going to let you get to me.”

Carmella has a strong message to her haters

Carmella has been drafted to Raw for the first time during her career on the main roster. Since then, she’s been claiming to bring the most beautiful persona over on Monday nights. Her heel character is bound to do some villainous antics on TV and hence the backlash on the internet from her haters might just continue. Towards them, the former Smackdown Women’s Champion had the following message,

“Y’all can be so cruel. Luckily, I know who I am. I’m not going to let you get to me. I just wanted to post this as a friendly reminder not to believe everything you read and see on the internet. Do you, for you. [peace emoji]”

We can only hope that this post from Carmella can send the concerned fans with the needed message who think it’s good to unleash hatred on her timeline. This was an empowering message which could inspire others who should not be ashamed to showcase their real side in front of the world.

Carmella has been a mainstay name on Smackdown since her return with a revamped gimmick, last fall. She’s had feuds with the likes of Sasha Banks or Bianca Belair for the Smackdown Women’s Title but those efforts weren’t successful. Now she is moving forward to win the WWE Queen’s Crown 2021 tournament.
