Paul Wight made his professional wrestling debut under the World Championship Wrestling where he went by the name of the Giant. He won multiple championships in the promotion before he was signed by WWE in 1999.

He worked in WWE for over 20 years. And in this long time period, he won almost every possible championship that would be won by him in WWE. He is considered as one of the most successful wrestlers in WWE history.

The Big Show who currently works in the AEW under his real name Paul Wight recently spoke to Adam’s Apple YouTube Channel where he talked about the differences between producing matches for WWE and his current promotion AEW. He said;

“I think both products are amazing, I just think they’re different products. I think WWE is always going to be that entertainment, sports spectacle. That global brand that they worked so hard to be. AEW is more of an authentic wrestling product, you know? There’s not 15-20 writers backstage in AEW.

“If you have a promo, you have a promo, and if you have a match, you have a match,” Paul explained. “There’s not as much upper-level handling on what they want during the match and what they’re trying to present for the extra property they own.

“Even for me, I’m doing Paul Wight but I’ve never had as much freedom as I do now in AEW doing this. Before, when I was in WWE as Big Show, it was a committee to get anything done.”

She had her first AEW Women’s World Title opportunity against Hikaru Shida at the beginning of this year’ summer, after becoming the number-one contender. At this point, Taynara Conti is a part of the Dark Order on AEW TV who also got back her friend Anna Jay by her side to re-form the Tay-Jay team. We’ll have to see what AEW has in-store for these two in the future.

Jon Moxley Thinks Scripts Should Not Be A Huge Thing In Wrestling

Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dean Ambrose aka Jon Moxley who is also a former AEW world champion recently said that wrestling scripts should not affect a professional wrestler’s personal life and it should not be a thing in wrestling.

Even though it is not very much cleared but from the way the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion made his remarks it seemed like he is once again attacking WWE for their kayfabe rules. It is true that in the history of professional wrestling WWE is the promotion and that It is true that in the history of professional wrestling WWE is the promotion that have always been very much conservative with kayfabe.

There were even examples of stars getting released from WWE because not maintaining kayfabe properly. For example Serena Deeb first arrived in the main roster of WWE in 2010 she was a member of the Straight Edge society run by CM Punk. She was getting massive praises from the fans and critics for her amazing performance but got released because of not maintaining kayfabe outside of wrestling.

We have mostly seen the biggest legends of WWE always maintaining kayfabe and staying in character for most of the time. They even keep staying in character while on interviews and while interacting to fans. WWE is the strictest professional wrestling promotion for maintaining kayfabe.

Jon Moxley who is also a former AEW world champion recently spoke with Cincy 360 where he said that wrestling scripts should not affect a professional wrestler’s personal life and it should not be a thing in wrestling. He said;

“I’ve talked a lot of crap about what I think sucks in wrestling. I think characters should be authentic and I don’t like hokey crap or scripts and writers. I’ll never read a script for the rest of my life, bet your ass on that.

Jon Moxley

“A guy like Eddie Kingston is Eddie Kingston 24/7. He finishes his cigarette, walks into the building, and it’s the same guy. There is no ‘put-on’ character going on here. That’s what wrestling should be.

“Letting guys be themselves and having their own creativity whether they are Orange Cassidy or a crazy high-flying team like the Young Bucks who think up the most ridiculous and action-packed sequences. No one is trying to tone each other down or say, ‘that’s too much.”

Kurt Angle Points Out The Differences Between WWE And AEW

Former six times WWE World Champion Kurt Angle who is also a WWE Hall of Famer recently talked about the differences between the veteran professional wrestling promotion WWE and the newly formed rival promotion of WWE, AEW.

Since the very first day of formation of the promotion, AEW proved out to be a stronger so than WWE. They have shown promises and ambitions to grow popularity and make steps forward unlike WWE recently. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic WWE was forced to release a lot of big names from the roster. AEW signed most of them and utilizing them quite well.

Kurt Angle Points Out The Differences Between WWE And AEW

There is a huge problem with WWE recently that they are failing to utilize their big names. There are a lot of wrestlers in WWE Who are capable of doing a lot but they are either doing a mid card or a lower mid card role. The biggest example of this being the Phenomenal AJ Styles who has the potential to be a face of any promotion but is jobbing mid card right now.

AEW has find a lot of big names recently including a CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole and more. These names are enough to beat WWE in weekly television show ratings. They have already managed to beat NXT. Their next target is Friday Night Smackdown and soon the target will be Monday Night RAW. Is WWE coming to its end? Soon we will get all the answers.

Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle who is a former six times WWE World champion recently spoke to Wrestling Inc. Daily where he pointed out the differences between WWE and AEW. He said;

“I think that the shareholders put a lot of pressure on the big man and tell him ‘keep everything PG rated. Gear it more for younger kids, that’s where the merchandise is.’ The WWE, their theory is, ‘if the kids are watching it, the parents are watching it too.

Kurt Angle

“And the parents are going to pay for the merchandise for the kids, and they’re going to pay to go see the events. So they do have the right theory on it, but they’re losing the young adults.

“The 18 to 40 years olds that WWE had during the Attitude Era, that’s more the way AEW’s direction is right now. They’re swearing on the air, they’re putting up the middle fingers. It’s more of an Attitude Era attitude.”

Bryan Danielson Says The Excitement In AEW Product Is Unmatched

Former five times WWE World Champion Daniel Bryan who is currently going by the name of Bryan Danielson at the AEW recently said there was an excitement in the AEW product that was unmatched.

Daniel Bryan had been one of the biggest names in WWE and he was a top babyface of the promotion. Nobody expected WWE would let him go so easily. A lot of professional wrestling legends, critics and fans criticized WWE for letting Bryan go since he was the top babyface of the promotion. And if WWE is lacking in something that is building a top babyface for the promotion.

After Bryan left WWE is struggling badly to build a concrete babyface for either of their main roster shows. For both shows they had to bring back part time wrestlers so that they could feature as the babyface number one contender for both world championships. Right now they are trying to build new faces, but it does not seem like they would be able to build someone like Bryan so easily.

Bryan made his AEW debut at the latest AEW pay per view event which was All Out. It was one star-studded show. There were more debuts of former WWE stars like Adam Cole and Ruby Riott aka Ruby Soho. Bryan would be feuding for the AEW World title against Kenny Omega as it stood.

Bryan Danielson who is currently going by the name of Bryan Danielson at the AEW recently participated in the post-show media scrum where he spoke about there was an excitement in the AEW product that was unmatched. He said;

“Then there’s also, I just think there’s an excitement, you know what I mean? There’s just an excitement. You see the crowd. I mean I think you all see it, probably were all out there and you felt it.

Bryan Danielson

“You felt how excited people are about this product and it feels vibrant. Even just watching it through a TV screen in a trailer. I’m sitting there going, ‘God this is awesome. I want to be a part of this.’ So that was it.

“Although it was — I don’t know, I really battled back and forth because there’s a lot of people there that I consider family, that actually are legitimately my family, and you know, people that I love there so it was a really tough decision.”

Ex WWE Superstar Taynara Conti Isn’t In A Rush In Recent Bikini Photos

Taynara Conti is very much serious about her professional wrestling career despite the fact that she didn’t even have proper knowledge about this sport even a few years ago. She was the first Brazilian talent to have ever stepped her foot inside a WWE ring. With her antics, she could easily garner attention toward herself but then again WWE stood in her way. Being a novice, she didn’t get enough chances to feature in competition on a regular basis.

This eventually led to her release from the WWE as she found her way to the All Elite Wrestling promotion, a year ago. Since then, Taynara Conti managed to gain back love to pro-wrestling as the company provided her with opportunities to feature on TV with enough creative opportunities for her. She is happy with her position and that gets reflected on her social media.

Taynara Conti recalled her training days in WWE

While speaking to Oral Sessions Podcast with Renee Young, Taynara Conti discussed her days in WWE including her first tryout. It was a memorable experience, but one thing that really stood out was how Bayley kept on screaming at her the entire time so that she could make a progress. Bayley appeared to be her well-wisher who wanted nothing but the very best from her.

“I remember more like Bayley because she was screaming at me all the time. Yes … That was crazy because honestly, I had no idea what I was doing. I’ll be 100% honest, no idea. But then, because of my background, I was like, ‘That’s a competition and I want to win.’ And then I was like, ‘What am I winning? I don’t even know. But like, it’s a lot of people, it’s a competition, and I’m going to be the best.’ That was my mentality.”

“Then I was sitting there and just kind of meditating after and you can just feel it. So many times we just like bypass cool things. I kept sitting there. I don’t know how many of you meditate? I know, it’s bullshit mood stuff or whatever.

“But, just feeling the sensation of it, it still resonated. That’s one of the very unique things about pro wrestling, is that you go out there and you can feel — For the most part, most of my career, almost every time I’ve gotten out there and really felt something, and tonight it was a feeling that wouldn’t stop until they came and got me out of the trailer. Then you disconnect from it and you’re just like, Oh, where am I going?”

Neither WWE Nor AEW Interested In Signing Tessa Blanchard

Tessa Blanchard was released from Impact Wrestling while being their reigning World Champion. She was the first female superstar to capture the men’s division belt and thus created a milestone in the modern era. The title reign grabbed attention from all over the professional wrestling circuit as this was a rare incident.

While some appreciated this unique booking of Impact that gave the female wrestlers appreciation, some were doubtful whether it was the right move or not. Overall, this was a decision that kept the discussion ongoing and thus Tessa Blanchard was at the center of attention. It was unfortunate that the most talked superstar of the Impact roster had to leave within a few months.

More importantly, she is yet to sign up for any promotion even after one year has passed since that incident. Recently she dropped a photo with Ted Dibiase’s dollars that many thought to be an NXT tease. But in reality, Bodyslam.net said there is zero interest in her outside of the NWA.

Triple H No More Untouchable At Backstage Of WWE NXT

Tessa Blanchard is considered to be in a neutral position

Cassidy Haynes of the source recently reported that Tessa Blanchard’s name came up while he was speaking to some sources. He was told that there is no interest from AEW or WWE to sign her up. She is considered “nuclear” by the two leading promotions while Indie promoters also have the same feelings about her.

“I was told there are no plans for her to appear in either WWE, NXT or AEW. One source added, “She’s nuclear. Nobody wants near her.” I was also told a few months back while speaking with a prominent independent promoter, and when her name came up he said, “I have to stay away, she’s nuclear right now.”

Neither WWE Nor AEW Interested In Signing Tessa Blanchard 59

It should be noted that Tessa Blanchard was called out for spitting on La Rosa Negra and addressing her with the N-Word while on a tour of Japan. This was followed by a number of wrestlers coming forward to reveal how she used to be a bully, backstage during the indie shows. Probably, that issue has worked in a negative way for her but she is training hard and perhaps remains optimistic about making a comeback. As of now, the uncertainty around the free-agent continues.

Booker T Speaks On Former WWE Stars Joining AEW

Two times WWE Hall of Famer Booker T who is also a former five times WCW world heavyweight champion recently gave his opinion on former WWE superstars joining the All Elite Wrestling.

Since the All Elite wrestling was formed a lot of former WWE stars have joined the promotion. As soon as the promotion was formed the biggest stars of WWE such as Chris Jericho and Dean Ambrose aka Jon Moxley left WWE to join the promotion. Even as of now, stars who wrestled in WWE previously keep joining the AEW.

Booker T Speaks On Former WWE Stars Joining AEW

During the covid-19 pandemic, WWE event on releasing spree. They released nearly 50 wrestlers and personnel in only one year time. They even released some of the biggest name of the promotion. Some really talented young stars have also been released by WWE in this covid-19 pandemic situation.

A lot of those wrestlers where approached by AEW and a lot of them have been signed by the promotion. As if they wait for WWE to release stars so that they could approach them and signed them. A lot of big names that was released by WWE have already been signed by AEW such as Aleister Black, Andrade, and Rusev. There are so many other big names as well.

Booker T who is also a former five times WCW world heavyweight champion recently spoke on his Hall of Fame Podcast where he gave his opinion on former WWE superstars joining the All Elite Wrestling. He said;

Booker T
Booker T. Image Credits: Twitter

“These guys have every right to actually do it the way they want to do it if they’re not happy. Daniel Bryan has had a great career in WWE. He was making money even on the independent circuit.

“This guy has put in the work, so I’m not gonna hate. The thing is, WWE shouldn’t hate either. Basketball players go to other teams every year. You saw LeBron James leave Cleveland and say, ‘Man, I’m going to South Beach.’ I understand, and I get it. If I was one of those guys, I might be thinking the same exact thing, just like a Daniel Bryan. He’s been in WWE how long?

Booker T
Booker T. Image Credits: Twitter

“And the thing is, it’s not like it used to be where back in the day, guys wanted to have a 20-year career in WWE. It was different. It’s a totally different time right now with these young guys and the way they see this business.

“It’s their world right now. I can’t sit here and hate on anything Daniel Bryan is doing. One thing about him in AEW is he’s gonna be able to write his own ticket and have the matches he wants to have. Go out and create the stories he wants to create. That’s what a lot of times these guys are looking for.

“I always wanted to be able to create and do my own thing as well. I knew I wasn’t gonna be able to do that in WWE. That’s why I got Reality of Wrestling. I was like, I’ll create my own stories and create my own angles.”
