Paige Teases Fans About Her Next Destination Following WWE Departure

Paige and WWE’s association has lasted for over a decade. After performing all around the UK indie scene, it was WWE who introduced her to the global fame through NXT and then the main roster. Now, all good things have to come to an end and there’s nothing different in this case.

As announced by Paige, earlier this month, her tenure with the company will finish on July 2nd as the signed deal will be ending. WWE has decided not to renew her contract when it expires in early July and thus she becomes a free agent for the first time since 2011. Back then, she used to be just a teenager.

Paige Teases Fans About Her Next Destination Following WWE Departure 9

One of the major issues around WWE not signing Paige for a further tenure could be due to the fact that she isn’t medically cleared to wrestle inside the squared circle. For the past few months, she did claim to be back in action, overcoming the neck concussions but nothing, in particular, was revealed about the situation.

Paige wanted opinions from fans about her next destination

Moving on, Paige has now teased about her future whereabouts as she took to Twitter to ask her fans a very important question, “Where do you guys wanna see me next??”

Mickie James had an interesting answer to the question by saying, “in my dreams.” Madison Rayne has replied saying that she knows a place. Since both these two are associated with the Impact Wrestling Knockouts division, possibly the soon-to-be-former WWE Superstar could end up being there. At the same time, many of the fans want her to move to All Elite Wrestling, of course.

For the time being, Paige is booked to appear at the Starrcast V fan fest at the end of July in Nashville, Tennessee, where she will be part of a meet and greet and her own panel show. This will be her first post-WWE appearance.

Paige Teases Fans About Her Next Destination Following WWE Departure 10

The two-time WWE Divas Champion started with the WWE in 2011 at the age of just 19. She would go on to become the first-ever NXT Women’s Champion and then the youngest WWE Divas Champion during her first match on Monday Night Raw 2014. Four years later, at the same venue, she was forced to declare her retirement due to a neck injury picked up at a WWE house show in December 2017.

Forbidden Door 2022: Top AEW Superstars Reportedly Off The Show

Last night, AEW Superstar Andrade El Idolo led the fans in speculating that he would not be appearing at AEWxNJPW Forbidden Door 2022. The blame was given to lucha libre wrestling promotions AAA and CMLL.

This would generate to a response from AAA booker Konnan, as Andrade claimed that AAA hadn’t paid him, and no clarification was provided on his status for the upcoming PPV event.

According to sources close to luchablog, Andrade will not be appearing at Forbidden Door 2022, later this month, despite initially being booked for the show. The premiere blog for lucha libre news around the US also noted that the Lucha Brothers, Penta Oscuro, and Rey Fenix are the other names who are barred from appearing in the jointly presented event.

No direct reason was stated for the top AEW Superstars’ absence but that can be attributed to CMLL’s working relationship with New Japan as all the three luchadores would have to be left off Forbidden Door 2022. Andrade, Penta, and Fenix are all associated with AAA, the rival promotion of CMLL in Mexico.

Andrade was reportedly booked for Forbidden Door 2022 while Penta Oscuro is scheduled to face Malakai Black for a chance to join the fatal-4-way match to be hosted for the AEW All Atlantic Championship. Fenix is scheduled for AAA’s next Showcenter event on June 26, the same day as Forbidden Door 2022 and hence it’s unlikely that he will make it to the show after all.

Forbidden Door 2022: New All-Atlantic Champion to be crowned

The finale of the AEW All-Atlantic Championship tournament will be hosted during Forbidden Door 2022. As per updates from social media, New Japan Pro-Wrestling will host two qualifying matches for the tourney as part of their New Japan Road tour. Both these matches will be taking place at the June 20 event in Korakuen Hall. The qualifying matches will see Tomoaki Honma taking on Clark Connors while Suzuki-gun’s Yoshinobu Kanemaru will compete against Tomohiro Ishii.

The winners of Connors/Honma and Ishii/Kanemaru will face each other on June 21 in Korakuen Hall with the winner moving on to AEWxNJPW Forbidden Door 2022 to take on Pac, Ethan Page/Miro, and Malakai Black/Penta Oscuro. The winner of that fatal-4-way will become the first-ever AEW All-Atlantic Champion.

WWE Legend Jeff Hardy Bails Out Of Jail After Getting Arrested

Troubles don’t seem to be leaving Jeff Hardy anytime soon. Even after moving to the AEW, his track record apparently remains the same after he was arrested, earlier this morning.

He ran into trouble with Florida law enforcement and was subsequently got arrested in Volusia County for “DUI Alcohol/Drugs 3rd Offense within 10 years,” “Driving While License Cancelled/Suspended/Revoked” and “Violating Restrictions Placed On Driver’s License.”

According to Volusia County records, Jeff Hardy was booked on June 13 at 12:45 pm local time and was taken into custody. All three charges are felony counts and the former WWE Superstar was being held on a bond that totals $3,500 ($2,500 for the DUI, and $500 apiece for the license violations). According to the County Clerk’s office, he was scheduled for a court appearance on Tuesday at 1:30 pm local time.

As per the latest updates, Jeff Hardy was reportedly bonded out of jail in Volusia County, Florida after paying a $3,500 bond via the assistance of a bail bondsman.

PWInsider reports that the younger Hardy was slated to appear in court Tuesday at 1:30 pm ET, but that appearance was listed as “canceled.” No reason was given for the cancelation.

Jeff Hardy was reportedly under influence of alcohol

In an additional report by ESPN’s Marc Raimondi, the Florida Highway Patrol arrest report described Jeff Hardy as “in a stupor and confused” after being pulled over for “swerving” and “‘running off’ the roadway.”

The report also noted that the former WWE Champion was “unsteady and smelled of alcohol” and could not complete “any portion” of the field sobriety tests. Police officers reportedly administered two breathalyzers on him, one reading 0.294 and the second reading 0.291, and both of them were over the legal limit of 0.08.

WWE Legend Jeff Hardy Bails Out Of Jail After Getting Arrested 50

As noted above, this is Jeff Hardy’s 3rd offense within the past 10 years, which added to the severity of the charge. Before this, the 2011 arrest for drug trafficking forced him to stay in jail for 10 days. He was then arrested twice in 2019, in July for public intoxication, and then again in October for driving in an impaired state.

Following this arrest, Jeff Hardy was pulled out of this week’s card of AEW Dynamite while AEW also reportedly requested WarnerMedia to take him out of all the advertisements for the time being.

Paige Open To Work With AEW After WWE Career If The Price Money Is Right

One of the integral parts of WWE Women’s Evolution, Paige has finally announced her departure from the company. Due to her absence from TV for almost three years, there have been speculations about her future in the company for a long time. Then in a long statement on Twitter, the confirmation came last week that ended an association of a long decade.

Starting on July 7, Paige will no longer be a WWE Superstar, and to reflect the change, she has already changed her Twitter bio to accepting bookings at It will be interesting to see what projects she would eventually be involved in as she has found success on other media platforms like Twitch. Even a full-length movie has also been made around her in the past.

As noted on Paige’s WWE exit statement, she hasn’t ruled out her return to the squared circle since “that day will most certainly come again!” Depending on this statement, many fans have already jumped to the conclusion that the multi-time Divas Champion will join AEW once she’s done with WWE.

Paige Reveals That WWE Doesn’t Want To Re-Sign Her To A Contract

General belief is that Paige will eventually land in AEW

“Paige has been clear to wrestle It’s not like AEW is going to care if she has a bad neck,” “You’re not a real fan of Paige if you’re manifesting an AEW run. That women’s division is dangerous” or “They gon put Paige in a ladder match in AEW” were the likes of comments those roamed around the internet below the post of Paige.

Paige Open To Work With AEW After WWE Career If The Price Money Is Right 57

Besides, Paige was also about working outside of WWE during her Twitch stream, particularly in AEW. She did not say no but rather intended to jump ship if the money is right. This is something that has caught the attention of professional wrestling fans since AEW does need strong names to revitalize things in their women’s division.

Back in 2018, the multi-time champion was forced into retirement after WWE doctors refused to clear her due to a neck concussion. She has since mentioned that her neck feels great after multiple surgeries and an in-ring return is only a matter of time for her. Given the current state of the AEW women’s division, she would fit perfectly into it. Now, it’s up to Tony Khan whether he’s interested or not.

AEW Forbidden Door 2022: Update On Planned Top Title Matches

AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2022 is indeed happening, later this month which happens to be a joint association of the two pro-wrestling promotions. Seeds of top matches for the event have already been planted on AEW programming and it’s likely that there will be two world championship matches on the card.

According to a report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, the current plan calls for the interim AEW World Title match to headline the Forbidden Door 2022. The groundwork for this match has already been done on AEW Dynamite.

AEW Forbidden Door 2022: Update On Planned Top Title Matches 67

Eyeing the forthcoming interim AEW World Title fight, a Casino Battle Royale was hosted in the opening segment of AEW’s flagship program. It was Kyle O’Reilly who picked up the victory that set him up to face the number-one ranked Jon Moxley in the main event match. Moxley defeated Kyle in that match after locking in a Bulldog Choke before hitting the Paradigm Shift and thereby solidifying his appearance at Forbidden Door 2022.

The IWGP Championship will also be on the card of the PPV as Meltzer indicated that it looks like a three-way match will go down featuring Adam Hangman Page, Adam Cole, and whoever the champion will be, either Okada or Jay White. White and Okada will fight over the belt at NJPW Dominion on June 12 with the winner heading into Forbidden Door 2022 for a title defense.

Triple Threat title match expected at AEW Forbidden Door 2022

Meltzer previously reported that the plans were to have Hangman vs. Okada straight up in a singles match at the late June event but now those plans were revealed to be incorrect as a triple threat is in the making.

The storyline is also moving in a similar fashion as Hangman Page made his intentions clear about going towards the IWGP Title after defeating David Finlay on Dynamite. Page said he doesn’t appear to be in AEW’s World Title picture but there’s not just one World Title and he wants to go after the IWGP champion, Okada.

AEW Forbidden Door 2022: Update On Planned Top Title Matches 68

Adam Cole then walked out and said to Page that Jay White could also become the new champion at Dominion. Besides, Page lost his world title at Double or Nothing while he won the Owen Hart tournament. Hence, he should be the one to get a title shot at Forbidden Door 2022. Further development in the storyline should be noticed, this week on Dynamite.

Indian Origin Satnam Singh Hoping To Get To Title Picture In AEW

Indian wrestler Satnam Singh has just made his in-ring debut via this week’s AEW Rampage episode. There have been some worries regarding his in-ring works but he’s not that much affected by it. He hopes to continue with the learning process and also has the belief that down the road, it will lead him to the championship picture.

Satnam Singh keeps his confidence, high just like a vertical reach. Around this week on AEW Rampage the former 2015 NBA draft pick did a special “Ask Me Anything” with Bleacher Report where he answered several questions regarding his wrestling career including how he first got involved with the pro-wrestling bug.

“In 2017, when I was playing in the D League still, WWE reached out and made me come to the Performance Center,” Satnam Singh revealed. “I tried it out and trained with them, but I wasn’t ready to make that move yet, because I was still into basketball. 2017 was when I initially was exposed to it.”

Satnam Singh hoping to get into the title picture

It should be noted that the gigantic superstar had his time spent at the WWE Performance Center in the past and those training sessions may have really paid off. He didn’t want to go through WWE’s procedures before appearing on their TV shows as he opted to go for an AEW deal. He doesn’t worry about his in-ring performance as it’s about the learning process. Besides, he’s hoping to go for a championship hunt, soon.

“I don’t think anything is really hard,” Satnam Singh mentioned. “I’m just learning by seeing things and I don’t really have trouble with specific moves.”
“I don’t know just yet, but I pray a title gets to me soon.”

Indian Origin Satnam Singh Hoping To Get To Title Picture In AEW 75

As noted, the Indian-origin superstar made his in-ring debut as he teamed up with Jay Lethal on last night’s Rampage in one of four matches on the card. Satnam Singh with Lethal and Sonjay Dutt by his side has set their sights on the ROH Television Champion Samoa Joe at this juncture moment.

Satnam Singh made his first appearance on AEW TV following Joe’s championship win against Minoru Suzuki on an April episode of AEW Dynamite. AEW President Tony Khan responded to criticism around his debut where the hype featured a lights-out segment.

WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss ‘Still Trying To Figure Out’ AEW TBS Champion

Alexa Bliss doesn’t back out from sharing her opinion on social media be it defending herself from the haters or raising awareness about fake profiles by her name. In the latest, the top women’s superstar appeared to be a backup for her best buddy who is now competing under the AEW banner.

Alexa Bliss apparently doesn’t know who Jade Cargill is. Per her social media update, she claims to have never heard about the current AEW’s TBS Champion who’s also undefeated in the company.

Alexa Bliss Shared Embarrassing Story From WWE Raw; Mickie James Reacted

WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss ‘Still Trying To Figure Out’ AEW TBS Champion 85

Alexa Bliss took to Twitter to throw shade at Cargill as the latter’s feud continued with Athena (fka Ember Moon in WWE) via a social media exchange, last night. It started when Cargill threw a comment while commenting on a selfie posted by Athena. She also made a reference to NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose in the process.

Responding to the tweet, Athena mentioned how Cargill is similar to Mandy. Then Alexa Bliss hopped in the conversation on behalf of her bestie Athena, who also appeared to be one of her bridesmaids at her wedding back in April,

“I’d love to get mad at someone who’s coming after my bestie… but I’m still trying to figure out who the heck they even are … ?”

Alexa Bliss dragged herself into an already controversial situation

It should be noted that Cargill dragged Mandy Rose into the conversation after Athena’s comments from an earlier interview. The yet-to-be AEW Superstar revealed that several female wrestlers in WWE were told to dress as the leader of Toxic Attraction during talent meetings.

“We would have to sit through stupid meetings about how we’d have to dress sexy,” Moon said while discussing her bygone stint with the WWE. “I remember looking at someone else [and laughing]. I cater to children. I’m not about to wear fishnet booty butt-cheek shorts because we had a two-hour meeting about how to dress like Mandy Rose.

That’s not fair. Mandy is absolutely phenomenal and an amazing person, but not everyone is Mandy Rose. I started seeing this downslope as soon as Hunter was gone [from NXT].”

Athena then arrived in AEW via her appearance at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view, last month where she confronted Cargill. The two women have been feuding on social media and on AEW TV, since then.
