In addition to the happenings, a massive title change was witnessed from the women’s division. Nikki Cross A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley have become your new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

This week’s WWE Raw saw Nikki and Ripley defeat Natalya and Tamina Snuka to become the new champions. The match witnessed Tamina delivering a big Samoan Drop to Nikki to lay her out. Tamina went to the top rope for the Superfly Splash but Nikki got her knees up. Nikki crawled for a tag but Ripley was still down at ringside.

Then, Big E was talking with Paul Heyman when The Usos suddenly attacked him and beat him all around the backstage area. They taunted E as he was down, advising him to go back to WWE RAW. Reigns was also seen standing by who walked away as The Usos followed him to set up the match for this week’s show.

Meanwhile, this will also be E’s first appearance on the red brand following the title win from last week. Hence, he is all set to throw a championship celebration with his New Day colleagues.

Approaching to Extreme Rules PPV event, WWE Raw will present a loaded episode, this week with the headliner being a title match. Bobby Lashley will defend the WWE Title against Randy Orton in a singles contest. The US title will also be on the line when Damian Priest throws an Open Challenge to the roster. Rhea Ripley will face a women’s tag team champion while Charlotte Flair will also be in action on the show set from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.

WWE Champion Bobby Lashley will defend against one-half of WWE RAW Tag Team Champions, Randy Orton, tonight. As announced by WWE, last week, RAW was supposed to feature Orton and Riddle defending their tag titles against Lashley and MVP while Orton vs. Lashley for the WWE Title was also announced for the Extreme Rules pay-per-view on September 26.

But then a commercial aired during the bygone episode of SmackDown where Orton vs. Lashley was advertised for WWE RAW. Then WWE has officially announced the WWE Title match on the official website as well as on social media profiles. The match has since been removed from the Extreme Rules card while the PPV graphic remains the same around this match.

WWE issued the following storyline explanation for preponing this mega encounter,

“They don’t want to wait for WWE Extreme Rules. Bobby Lashley will defend his WWE Championship against Randy Orton this Monday on Raw! Raw Tag Team Champion Orton will look to add another title to his collection as he tries to capture his 15th World Championship, while The All-Mighty is out for some serious payback after falling victim to an RKO two weeks in a row. Who will emerge as WWE Champion? Find out on Raw, live this Monday at 8/7 C on USA Network!”

It’s very much possible that Orton vs. Lashley will go down on Raw while WWE will schedule the rematch between the two with an added stipulation at Extreme Rules.

Charlotte Flair Shares Her Experience On Working With Nikki ASH & Rhea Ripley

In only six years time Charlotte won a total of twelve women’s championship and quite surely many more to come. Just to prove Charlotte Flair is the supreme goddess of WWE, dekh killed the process of both Rhea Ripley and Nikki ASH. There cannot be any doubt in the fact that Charlotte is an amazing athlete but what WWE is doing with her is simply over pushing.

Currently there are not enough options for her to compete against for the title. It looks like  Nikki ASH would be driven out of this feud very soon and they would go back to continue the feud between Charlotte and Rhea again. Since Becky Lynch is in SmackDown now there is no other option. Only if they decide to push Shayna Baszler again, that would be really interesting to see.

champion Charlotte Flair who is a twelve times WWE Women’s champion recently spoke to ‎Oral Sessions with Renée Paquette where she talked about his experience on working with Nikki ASH & Rhea Ripley. She said;

“Let me talk about Rhea for a second.  Our story has actually been going on for two years.  I think because of Covid, people really forgot that we had that build when I won Royal Rumble, and then we faced each other at the PC, but without an audience.

“When Rhea and I faced each other at Money in the Bank, it was the first time that we were able to dance in front of an audience.  Seeing Rhea being put in these high pressure situations like WrestleMania with me when she was in NXT, then with WrestleMania with Asuka when I was out because of Covid, that was just last minute.

“She had no idea and both times she rose to the occasion.  I think that speaks volumes of how far she is going to go because that’s what it’s all about.  You’re either going to sink or you’re going to swim, and that’s what she did.  I’m really proud of Rhea.

“I look across that ring, I look at her coming into her own, and I’m like, ‘She really is going to be the future of this division.’  I really do feel that way.  I’m super proud of her.  With Nikki A.S.H. I look at her and go, ‘Way to take a character that you came up with and believe in, and then turn it into the RAW Women’s Champion.

“If you saw Nikki’s old work from NXT to now, it’s night and day.  Even though you saw a little bit of that crazy Nikki because she attacked me on commentary on Monday and I wasn’t even doing anything, I don’t know, but that’s guts.  That’s passion.  She believed in this character.  To see her evolve and run with it is exciting.”

WWE Summerslam 2021: Charlotte Flair Becomes A 12-Time Champion

The Queen has done it again at WWE Summerslam 2021, keeping her winning streak intact at the biggest event of the summer. During the PPV triple threat match, Charlotte Flair defeated Rhea Ripley and former champion Nikki Cross A.S.H. to win the strap. With this win, she has now become a twelve-time singles women’s champion on the main roster, an accolade no woman in the history of the WWE doesn’t possess.

The finishing sequences of this match witnessed Flair applying the Figure Four, then bridging into the Figure Eight on Ripley. Nikki flew in to break it up but lands badly to hurt her knee. Ripley screamed in pain but went for the Riptide on Nikki who countered into a DDT.

Nikki tapped out for the finish of this title match. This outcome also marked the fourth title change of the WWE Summerslam 2021 title match.

WWE Summerslam 2021: Becky Lynch Returns To Win Smackdown Women’s Title

Flair has clinched another title win at WWE Summerslam 2021

The win has also marked Flair’s 6th title reign with the red brand title while counting the two NXT Title reigns and the women’s tag team titles reign, she has become a 15-time champion in the WWE (although WWE doesn’t officially recognize this stat as she is being touted as a 12-time champion).

WWE Summerslam 2021: Charlotte Flair Becomes A 12-Time Champion 48

Nikki A.S.H won the Raw women’s title back on the July 19 RAW episode by cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase on Flair and went on to hold the title for 31 days since then before dropping it at WWE Summerslam 2021. Before that, Charlotte Flair won the belt at Money in the Bank PPV by defeating Rhea Ripley in a singles contest but she lost it to Nikki within just 24 hours later.

It should be noted that Nikki was the one to get pinned at WWE Summerslam 2021 Triple Threat while Ripley was not involved in the match-decider submission move. While Nikki can always demand a rematch for her title, Ripley can also claim a rematch capitalizing on the fact that she was never pinned or submitted. Hence, another triple threat could be likely in the near future for the Raw Women’s Title.

Rhea Ripley Says She Was Curious To See Fans’ Reaction At Money In The Bank

Ripley got amazing response from the fans throughout her match against Charlotte Flair. On the other hand, Charlotte got mixed reaction only. Throughout the night, the crowd of the event was excellent and very lively. The best part of the event was its crowd.

The crowd of Money in the Bank was one of the best crowds in the recent history of WWE, of course we are not counting the Thunderdome era in this history. It was an average event where the outcomes of most of the matches were really predictable. The crowd reaction saved the event completely.

“I know a lot of people didn’t really know me too well before I came to Raw, so a lot of people may not know exactly who I am, and I’m here to show them exactly who I am. I can’t wait to possibly change their minds and make them back me up and cheer for me and believe in me because they should. I’m here to stay, and I’m the Raw Women’s champion.”

Rhea Ripley Wants To Face Alexa Bliss

Ever since Alexa Bliss got involved in a story line with Bray Wyatt she went to a complete through a complete change. Her previous gimmick was somewhat inspired from Harley Quinn who is a famous villain from Batman. Bliss played that particular role excellently as well.

A feud between Alexa Bliss and Rhea Ripley would have been amazing to witness. Right now Bliss is involved in a feud with Eva Marie and Ripley is busy on her quest of winning the WWE Raw Women’s Championship. So it is not possible at once.

But they can feud each other in the near future. A feud between Alexa Bliss and the Nightmare would have been amazing to witness. But preferably in non title feud would be more interesting after looking at the current circumstances.

Rhea Ripley who is a former WWE Raw Women’s champion recently spoke to the South African where she expressed her desire to face the former five times WWE Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss. She said;

“I might regret what I’m saying right now. But she’s just so different. And I like different. And I like a challenge. And she definitely is a challenge. So Alexa Bliss will be someone that I’m curious of, and I just I wouldn’t mind stepping in the right with.”
