India have won the T20 series 3-0. With this series win, India becomes the first team to win all matches in a series against Australia on Australian soil after 140 years. In the final match of the series at Sydney Cricket Ground Australia batting first scored 198 with the help of Shane Watson’s unbeaten 124. But India chased down the target in the last ball of the last over.

Indian left-handed batsman Dhawan scored 26 off 9 balls. He and Rohit Sharma shared a 46 run first wicket partnership. Dhawan nicked behind the wicket. As India were chasing a mammoth 198 Dhawan took a risk and it came off.

After Dhawan’s departure. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli added 88 runs. Sharma scored 52 off 38 balls. He hit one six and five boundaries that made India’s chase easy.

His 36 ball 50 kept India on the right track while chasing 198. He shared an 88 run second wicket partnership. He rotated the strike and destroyed Australian bowlers with boundaries.

Captain did not come to bat instead he promoted Yuvraj Singh in the batting order. He took one catch behind the wicket of the delivery of Ashwin to give India the first wicket.
