Indian Legend Sunil Gavaskar today said that India’s upcoming tour to Australia will be a tough one but it’ll provide them a good exposure to get used to the conditions ahead of the World Cup 2015.

Gavaskar quoted:

The Australian tour will be a hard one for Team India. They will have a real tough game. But it will be a good exposure to the team ahead of the next World Cup.”

However, Gavaskar refused to comment on the controversy over Sachin Tendulkar’s allegations former team coach Greg Chappell in his recently released autobiography and was firm on his previous statement that Chappell should have backed captains.

Earlier, Rahul Dravid had also said that the Australian tour will be a good learning experience for the Indian young guns and it would provide them the much needed confidence to go into the World Cup 2015.
