  • Bangladesh participate in the International Cricket Council Cricket World Cup 2015 as a team with an outside opportunity of defeating the big named players, while having the weapons to beat the others. Bangladesh team cannot be considered as main contender to take the World Cup even though they can beat the best of teams on their day. In their most recent One Day International (ODI) series they gave Zimbabwe a 5-0 loss.

    This ODI series with Zimbabwe could give them confidence and motivation but will also give an incorrect sense of power as Zimbabwe themselves are a very weak teams. The Bangladesh team is packed with youngsters bubbling with skills but it is unlikely if they will pass it beyond the quarter finals at best.
