World Cup 2015 has been mainly dominated by batsman with massive scores been posted throughout the first round of the tournament. But the tournament has also seen some very impressive bowling displays especially by the New Zealand and Australian bowlers.

The New Zealand’s strike bowler has been sensational in the match against England in Wellington during the group stage match in the World Cup. With just 33 runs on his debt side, he had secured 7 wickets on his fold.

2. Mitchell Starc (6/28) –

Australian left handed pace bowler Mitchell Starc was mighty on the day of the clash against the Black caps. He took 6 crucial wickets in lieu of just 28 runs but his feat could not save his team from defeat.

3. Trent Boult (5/27) –

The next New Zealand strike pace bowler to achieve such a great feat is Trent Boult with the haul of 5 wickets in exchange of just 27 runs.

4. Mitchell Marsh (5/33) –

Australia’s Mitchell Marsh is the next man in the list. He took 5 wickets for just 33 runs against England in Melbourne in their group stage match in the World Cup.

5. Imran Tahir (5/45) –

The South African spin bowler took 5 wickets for 45 runs in his 10 over haul against West Indies in their group stage encounter in Sydney.

6. Sohail Khan (5/55) –

Sohail Khan of Pakistan took 5 wickets for 55 runs against their arch rivals India in their group stage encounter in Adelaide, Australia.

7. Steven Finn (5/71) –

It was in a group stage match against Australia in Melbourne that Steven Finn of England took his career best feat of 5 wickets for just 71 runs.

8. Mitchell Starc (4/14) –

The mighty Australian again made his name in the list by taking 4 wickets for 14 runs against Scotland in Hobart stadium.

9. Daniel Vettori (4/18) –

In a group stage match against Afghanistan in Napier, Kiwi spin wizard Vettori took 4 wickets for 18 runs on his sleeves.

10. Kyle Abbott (4/21) –

The South African bowler bowled to get 4 wickets down in his sleeves for just 21 runs against Ireland in their group stage match in Canberra.
