CLT20 Recap: The Firsts in CLT20

Before 2008, the UEFA Champions League is considered as the most prestigious tournament. Few Cricket enthusiasts, took a leaf out of UEFA Champions League and started their own version of Champions League and named it as Champions League T20. It was in 2008, the tournament was scheduled to take place. But the Mumbai terror attacks issued an alarm warning. The tournament was scrapped and took place in 2009 for the first time Some players who took part in the inaugural edition especially in the opening match will go in the history books.
