On Tuesday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal claimed that a DDCA (Delhi and District Cricket Association) official asked for sex in return for selection of a cricketer.
Kejriwal told NDTV, “A senior journalist came to me and said his wife was asked to come for sex in return for selection of his son in the cricket team.”
Though the CM neither took the name of that journalist nor offered any evidence, but he told that the journalist was ready to testify at an inquiry.
Kejriwal also alleged that there are many wrong is happening in the DDCA. He said, “apart from the financial irregularities at the DDCA, there were other major wrong things happening including the sex racket.”
The Delhi CM said Prime Minister Narendra Modi should decide, “whether to make DDCA inquiry null and void to protect (finance minister) Arun Jaitley”.
Kejriwal declined about any wrong doing from his government in the DDCA scam. He also told that CBI can conduct any inquiry against him. He said, “Kejriwal is not scared of CBI, order any inquiry against me.”
Over the incident of alleged irregularities in the DDCA, he said: “Whenever anyone takes the name of DDCA and corruption, (Finance Minister) Arun Jaitley says he is being defamed. When we (Kejriwal along with Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia) met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, I told him I am like your child, please guide us, let us work without obstructions. He was silent.”
