Dhoni and Kohli to play for India A side
According to a recent news, India captains ( ODIs and tests respectively) MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli will be seen for the India A side in September.
BCCI announced that India will be hosting a series against visiting Bangladesh A team for a series of 4 matches against the A team of India, 3 ODIS and a 3-day match. The venue decided for all the matches is Bengaluru.
As the South Africa team will be visiting India for their tour, this series will be considered as a warm up for the vital players for the series and it is expected that players like Suresh Raina and Ambati Rayudu apart from Dhoni and Kohli will be seen playing in the series.
Apart from this, there is going to be fitness and enhancement session for the players in Bengaluru itself. The schedule is as follows:
September 16: 1st One Day: Bangladesh A vs India A
September 18: 2nd One day: Bangladesh A vs India A
September 20: 3rd One Day: Bangladesh A vs India A
September 27-29 (three-day game): Bangladesh A vs India A
The series is ending on 29th September and the South Africa series will be starting from 2nd of October, which means the players will be in full sync with the game.
Hopefully the series proves beneficial for the players as the youngsters get to play with the experienced ones and seniors get active and up for their upcoming series.
